Anyone else disappointed in just how little fan art there is of Adelard Dekker? He's so damn cool! He's ruthless but heroic, clever but oh so tired, and imo he has the most badass final words of any character in the whole show and they're heartbreaking:

In my head he looks like Ron Glass. He's particular about the way he dresses: a little old fashioned but spiffy in sturdy, quietly expensive vintage clothes that are starting to show a little wear but not too much.

His sense of fashion was formed from sneaking down the stairs as a young boy to watch In the Heat of the Night from behind his dozing father. He decided he wanted to be a detective like Sidney Poitier that night.
