The Social Media Massacre season 2 is finally here.
Now I know its been a long time in-between seasons and I want to thank everyone who is still fans of the product and is glad that it’s back.
Before I go anywhere else with this I have to thank all the folks who made season 1 possible.
Charlie, Sasha, Valerie, Tom, Heather, Kelsey, Chris, Garry, Shaun, Nikki, Brandon, Amber and Zach. You all have a place in my heart and I will never forget you.
Now. Onto season 2. This season I’ve decided upon a super low-fi approach and I’ve written, directed and starred in all of the 6 episodes.
It’s about a guy named Dave who, as you have seen in the first episode, has some issues to deal with in regards to the way things happened to him as he was growing up and decided that taking them out while streaming on a famous social media site was a great idea.
I’m taking a very British approach to all of this. What I mean by that is doing 6 episode seasons. Each season will focus on a particular form of social media and that darkness that surrounds it. With Facebook in the news now, this one seemed only right.
Some of you may think this has a very “Im Streaming Death” feel to it and yes there are parts that do ape that part of season 1 but I promise you, the ending is something that you will not see coming!
So please spread the word to all of your friends about the return of the show and I promise you, this is going to a very unsettling ride!
