Clovis's Funeral (Open Starter)

It's been weeks since the Skirmish in the Shinjuku Ghetto; weeks since the still unknown attacker took Clovis's life; weeks since the Japanese resistance had an strange and inexplicable victory.

Now you stand where the coffin is being held for visitation, discussing the nature of the late third-prince's death and current events with another person. What could develop out of this? What does it all mean?

Recruitment Time!

Alright folks! With reckless abandon, I'm going to start people for this RP.

As previously stated there are no restrictions on who can join and under what conditions they do so. Just drop this blog a message!

Now, we will need a large number of characters, as were previously discussed, and all of the characters will be listed under a "Read More"

If a character you want to play is not listed here, drop a message and we'll discuss your character's potential place in the plot. If we can work it out, you'll get in.

As spots are filled, they will be put as filled in this post, and on a page on the blog.

If more that one RPer asks to be a specific character within 48 hours of another one, the RPer who will play the character will be chosen by using the resources at Random.org, for the sake of fairness.

(Also of note, Zero and Lelouch will be treated as separate characters.)

In fact, for the sake of fairness, the mun of this blog will actually not claim any characters for the first 72 hours!

Plot!

So, I promised an overview of the plot, and here you have it! Do make note that this the same as my 'Proposal for a Community RP', but with variation to flesh out the story more.

This RP begins immediately after Clovis's funeral...

Clovis's death, and the mysterious nature around it, rekindles Schneizel's interest in  believing that Marianne Vi Britannia was more deeply connected to the emperor’s plans than he realized, he becomes a ‘patron’ of Ashford Academy in an attempt to get close to the Ashford family and find out how much they know. The only thing he generally succeeds in doing through this is finding the location of Lelouch and Nunnally, which at Lelouch’s insistence he keeps a secret.

After this, Schneizel hears about the incident Shinjuku and the container from Suzaku, which gives Schneizel interest in Zero.

Schneizel then goes and forms a squadron to follow his own intent, out of people who have been known to have contact with Zero, this includes Viletta Nu, Jeremiah Gottwald, and, of course, Suzaku. Their new purpose now being to investigate Zero's intentions and methods. This ends up leaving Viletta and Jeremiah out of the Battle of Narita. This also prevents Shirley from finding out that Zero is Lelouch the first time, and from meeting Mao. Finally, this prevents Viletta from ever becoming amnesiac.

Milly Ashford, and the rest of the 'normal' members of the student council, Rivalz, Shirley, and (possibly) Nina, begin to wonder what Schneizel's real reason for being in Area 11 was. This ends up leading them on their own mess, where they end up making the connection between C.C. and Code R. Which leads them on their own path that will eventually converge at a point...

Next, after having Schneizel explain his true intentions to Jeremiah, he decides to go after General Bartley to get to the bottom of Code R's purpose. Long story short, Jeremiah ends up apprehending control of Code R from Bartley and continues on after reporting what he found to Schneizel.

Schneizel, at this point wanting to make an affront to his father as possible, agrees to help Euphemia with the SAZ.  When the SAZ announcement does happens, things change completely. Euphemia after being accidently geassed by Zero, is stopped by Schneizel after he attempts to question her upon leaving the conversation. At Jeremiah's insistence, she is then taken to Code R and ‘cured’ with technology similar to what Lord Jeremiah obtained in R2. After Euphemia regains her senses, she reveals Zero’s identity to everyone.

After a day or two of complete chaos among Schneizel's team now knowing that Lelouch Vi Britannia is in fact, the terrorist Zero, and after Jeremiah's actions unveiling the existence of the Geass Order, and that information settling in...

 ...Well, they formulate a plan more devious than anything that happened in canon.

Going back to the Student Council and their constant discoveries, after much deliberation and some arguable underhanded tactics, they learn that Schneizel has control over this Code R thing, and proceed to (at Milly's discretion  attempt to disguise themselves and investigate there themselves. They nearly succeed, but they are caught and detained by the people working for Schneizel.

Then, as the Black Rebellion starts, Schneizel organizes a coup d’état over Area 11 (Preferably with Cornelia’s help at this point), and then hands over control of it to the Black Knights, thereby aligning himself with them.

From there, it can literally go anywhere. I haven’t thought past that point quite yet.

This is an Open RP group, designed to do nothing more than organize the, fairly large, number of people for this AU plot.

There will be no restrictions for members with who/what they RP, so long as they continue to participate in this RP group. Again, all kinds of blogs are welcome, even personal and side blogs. Since starters are to be made on this blog anyway, follow backs are not even necessary.
