Jeremy Kennedy survives getting wrecked by a flying knee in the 2nd to take a decision over Jason in Brazil. No frills but a solid wrestling game and good GnP work from the top carry Kennedy to a win in his featherweight debut.
Dennis Bermudez takes decision over Rony Jason.
Solid, tactful performance from Bermudez who seems to want to focus his game around opening up his TDs and minimizing extended exchanges on the feet. Landed some solid GnP and managed to open up Jason twice on elbows. Wouldn’t be a Bermudez fight though if he almost didn’t get himself finished, this time at the end of the third as Jason hit a switch and took his back.
And he calls out Frankie Edgar for UFC 205. I mean, why not?
I like when the commentary team have to point out that someone has spent a long time outside the cage but can’t admit it was because of PEDs.
