WHO THE F**UCK IS ROSIE!!??
Episode 2x04** made me think about a few things, firstly, about Rosie and who she really is.
Rosie is clearly not a random sinner since she can be summoned by a human and give Alastor all those powers.
The eyes symbols in the ritual are the same in "Murder Family" when Martha talks about the "Root of Evil"
She can gift powers (most likely the staff is the center of them) and also, Viv said in the past talking about her that she never died...AND her deal with Alastor Is a stepping stone for something mire big.
Contrary to what many fans theorize about Rosie being Lilith in disguise, manipulating the infernal scene from behind the scenes, I'm more inclined to believe that Rosie isn't a sinner, but rather an older being who waits an see to make a move.
She pretends to be a powerfull sinner to become involved in the politics of the overlords in the Pride Ring and pull the strings of a larger plan from the shadows, maintaining a very low profile, unlike Alastor and the Vees, who thrive on attention through their power games and belligerence. At first sight her prescence Is plain Almost kind in The overlords meeting.
The fact that she has an army of cannibals and her territory appears to be the most civilized and peaceful in the city raises suspicions about her true power and influence...It like, really? No battle or conflict for this nice place? Even if Is just for expand sombody territory or influence, can be worth it...but not.
As for her an Alastor deal, theres Is the the basic principle that you can't give more than you have, she's either lending Alastor some of her own magic or subrogating that Power from another being through the magic staff.
Moreover, until now all sinners have been isolated from everything within the Ring of Pride, limiting their dealings to that place. And yet Rosie not only managed to contact someone on the other side, but she made a deal with someone alive...
I'm more inclined to believe Rosie is a hellborn (a high-ranking or ancient demon like the Goethias) or a fallen angel with connections to either Roo or Lilith.
I know that part of the fandom still hopes that Lilith, as a figure of power, will have something to do with Alastor's storyline, and if it develops well, then welcome to the plot. But the idea of Lilith being Rosie gives me a vibe similar to Rose Quartz in Steven Universe... and I don't know if it would work well. Depending on how they handle this character in the story, she could become the mastermind or just an absent, stupid, and privileged rich mother.
I hope not, but as Rosie... We'll have to wait and see.
