It is filmmaker Karan Johar’s twins- Yash and Roohi’s second birthday today i.e. February 7,2019, and knowing Karan and his love for everything fancy, it is quite evident that Yash and Roohi’s birthday is going to be one fancy affair. Yash and Roohi’s first birthday was an intimate affair, for daddy KJo decided to celebrate it at home with just a close few friends in attendance. But now that Yash and Roohi have turned two, doting daddy decided to go all out and throw a fun birthday bash to celebrate their birthday. And as we speak, the preparations for Yash and Roohi’s birthday are on in full swing at a plush hotel in Mumbai and talking about the guest like, well, needless to say, all the B-town star kids are going to attend the party. From AbRam, Taimur Ali Khan, Aaradhya Bachchan, Misha Kapoor, Inaaya Kemmu, Mehr Dhupia Bedi to other star kids, everyone is going to dance and romp around at the bash.
In 2017, Karan became a father to Yash and Roohi, via surrogacy, and since then, thanks to social media, Karan Johar keeps updating his million fans with pictures of his children- from their playful videos, candid pictures to posts with nani, we love them all. But hang on, amidst all the pictures, what always catches our eye is Yash and Roohi’s pictures with all the galaxy of stars who drop by to Kjo’s home to play with the twins. From Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt,Sidharth Malhotra, to Ekta Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, a lot of celebs often pose with Yash and Roohi only to prove that as Karan once captioned their pics, they are indeed the ‘Baby Vogues’ of B-town. Unlike Taimur Ali Khan who is often clicked during his evening strolls, the paparazzi don’t quite get the opportunity to click Yash and Roohi but whenever they do, we always love their pictures.

Karan Johar is strictly against daughter Roohi and Taimur Ali Khan being called 'brother-sister' - Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's son Taimur Ali Khan and Karan Johar's twins Yash and Roohi are touted to be B-Town's youngest BFFs. The trio is often seen enjoying play-dates together and seem to quite like each other's company. Since Taimur is a few months older to Roohi, their nannies often ask her to address Taimur as 'bhaiya', which an ordinary man wouldn't find a problem in but apparently Karan strictly opposes it. While talking about how society forces relationships on children on his radio show, 'Calling Karan', the filmmaker shared that he is against kids being encouraged to address their peers as 'Didi' or 'Bhaiya' as they might not necessarily want to be siblings when they grow up. He said, "I am like, ‘Kyun?’ 20 saal ke baad maybe Taimur aur Roohi saath rehna chahte hai. Kuch bhi ho sakta hai unka apna. Hum abhi se hi kyun daraar daal rahe hai uss raaste mein? (I am like, 'why?' Perhaps 20 years later, Roohi and Taimur would like to be together. They can have anykind of relationship. Why do we have to burn that road so early?)" Interestingly, Karan had admitted in a 2015 interview that if he were a man, he would have wanted Kareena to be his wife. "I always feel if I were a man who would be interested, she would be the wife I wanted, or if I had a sibling, she would be the sister I never had, or if I was interested in dating women, she would probably be the woman I would want to date.
