Who’s the first to wake up in the morning: Shaundi. Carmen’s more of a night owl, and Shaundi sort of grows out of that when she starts her show.

Who’s the one to make breakfast: Neither. Shaundi’s more of a “grab a coffee and go” sort and Carmen rarely wakes up early enough for it to be considered breakfast. Plus, she usually eats something simple like cereal.

Who’s the one to serve the other breakfast in bed: Carmen’s more likely to, but it rarely ever happens just bc their schedules are so different.

Who would suggest a quickie in the morning before work: Either one. Carmen more often – for Shaundi, it depends on her schedule for the day. Once she’s in work mode, she’s in work mode.

Who suggests they both ditch work to lay around all day: Carmen

Who chooses the movies: They switch off.

Who initiates kissing during the moving, thus distracting the other from the movie all together: Both. Carmen bc… I mean she’s Carmen. Shaundi bc if the two of them are actually sitting down watching a movie together it means work is the last thing on her mind

Who orders lunch: either one

Who steals food from the other’s plate without asking: Carmen, completely without even thinking. Shaundi just rolls her eyes and goes with it.

Who curls up next to the other and falls asleep due to a full tummy: Both, but Carmen first. They’ll curl up on the couch and Shaundi will play with her hair and they’ll both doze off for a bit.

Who distracts the other from trying to work at home: Carmen. She’s like a cat – she’ll just go lay on Shaundi’s lap until she pays attention to her. Of course, there’s limits, and Carmen is careful not to push them.

Who asks to go get ice cream like a five year old: Shaundi.

Who takes pictures of their partner eating ice cream: Carmen. There’s just as many pictures of Pierce, though.

Who makes a sexual joke about the dripping ice cream on their partner’s face: Shaundi. At which point, Pierce leaves.

Who cooks dinner: Shaundi, if anyone. Otherwise it would just be lots and lots of takeout

Who cleans up the kitchen afterwards: they both will.

Who stays up until 2 reading: I can see Shaundi staying up late working – not necessarily reading, I guess.Carmen’s regularly up until 2. but…. also not reading haha.

Who stares at their partner while their sleeping: Carmen. She crushes on Shaundi for a long time before they actually get together, and sometimes still has to remind herself this is real (especially once they’re on the zin ship)

Who kisses their partner while they sleep: Shaundi mostly. Sleeping is one of the only times Carmen’s completely still and relaxed and even then she really doens’t get as much sleep as she should

A “let me determine exactly how you need my help so I can help you” way. R: feels the most detached from reality.Hmmm either Delilah or Kira. Kira – especially post war everybody lives au kira – literally feels detached sometimes, thanks to the myriad of mental/emotional problems she has. Delilah, less literally – she often feels she’s in over her head and therefor only sees/deals with/focuses on big, intangible issues. Talking about saving the entire galaxy from an ancient race of sentient machines is difficult to wrap your head around. S: has the strongest spirit.Carmen probably. T: is the most terrifying.I cannot just pick one for this. Carmen, Kira, and Emily.

Carmen bc I mean she’s the boss, it’s kinda in the job description. She’s ruthless. She’s cold. She will literally stop at nothing for revenge.

Same with Emily – once she’s made up her mind, you’d better get out of her way. She’s not going to hesitate to kill in cold blood.

Kira’s a different sort of terrifying. She doesn’t have the same demeanor the other two have, but she’s had a hand in and ensured genocide.

Multiple times. She’s unreal levels of terrifying.

I know I'm late but a fun fact abt Phoenix and Hackett is that they love to dance together, the tango especially. In fact, he's the one who taught Garrus how to Tango, for the Citadel date! (Citadel takes place a year after the war, in my canon)

so I’m guessing phoenix is a better dancer than the game suggests??

[hair] and [build] for Delilah and Emily!!

[hair]: Emily has short brown hair. It’s naturally very coarse and thick, and is probably worse bc she doesn’t put a lot of effort into its appearance. It’s pretty straight, and the most effort she needs to put into her hair is when she pins her bangs back while in combat. It’s a very rich chestnut color, a very deep brown with reddish undertones. She has very thick eyebrows, and though I wouldn’t say she exactly spends a lot of time maintaining them, she’ll shape them every now and again. As far as body hair, she has more than average and while she prefers shaving, she’s also a bit lazy and often makes do by just putting on long pants.

Delilah has shoulder-length black hair, and goes through a lot of effort to keep it shiny and healthy. It’s very thick and doesn’t stay styled no matter what she does, but it’s naturally a bit wavy and she doesn’t mind just leaving it down like that. I’m thinking that she’s probably also the sort to shave/wax basically everything regarding body hair.

[build]: Emily is built like Chris Evans. Seriously. She has broad shoulders and a fairly blocky frame, and while she isn’t huge, she’s muscular and very toned. She’s a bit above average height – 5′8 – but she seems much taller just bc she tends to be the biggest personality in the room at any given time.

Delilah on the other hand, has a much more… feminine build. She’s still got that toned, athletic look, but it’s… softer? She has curves and is a bit pear shaped, as far as body types go. She puts on weight easily, so even when she’s with the Alliance she doesn’t have that sculpted look that Emily does.

☯ - likes/dislikes headcanon: Delilah is very particular about her appearance. She spends a lot of time taking care of her hair (whether she’s leaving it up or down) and doing her makeup, and loves being able to dress up.

▼ - childhood headcanon: Delilah was constantly getting into trouble as a child; even before running away to join the Reds, she gave her (adopted) parents a lot of trouble. She got into a lot of fights in school, ran away once or twice for a few days at a time, and later turned to petty thievery out of boredom.

Still, she was a surprisingly talented student, and often pushed the limits of how much she could get away with before she became more trouble than she was worth.

∇ -. old age/aging headcanon: oh goodness umm... well, she dies at the end of the war, and I haven’t come up with an “everybody lives” au for her like I have everyone else. 

honestly if she did survive, I don’t know that she’d go back to active duty, especially at first, but she’d definitely want to be part of reconstruction/rescue efforts, and I could see her doing that for literally the rest of her life

♒ - cooking/food headcanon: Delilah grew up eating a lot of seafood, and it’s one of the things she misses most while with the Alliance. Even on human colonies, it just isn’t the same as what she grew up with. She can’t exactly call and get the family recipe (the last time she saw her parents, she was 15, and they didn’t exactly part on friendly terms), but she learns to cook most of the dishes her parents would make.
