relating to pets more than people
having his rage turn physical
Biffy co-operating with Lee for the thrill of the game
but still keeping him at a distance
Biffy getting a little too invested in the game and in Lee as his protector
Biffy realizing that it was never a game and he was never just Lee's co-pilot
Biffy going from enjoying his not-date with Kimmie [involving spying on and humiliating various classmates] to realizing it was Not Cool and telling her off

his dawning realization and subsequent backing off of Holger
Biffy learning to like Holger even though he doesn't 'get' him and how he thinks with his heart instead of his head
