Preliminary sketches of a race of surface dwelling peoples in a world that has a hot and humid environment. Getting physical characteristics down is hard. XD A lot of the ideas came from peoples and other animals living in those kinds of environments, their ancestors chose traits that were appealing in a warming world and used magics to apply them. The traits vary according to the region, cold to hot, or if they are next to water or in high latitudes. So, one of many examples. The scales are reminiscent of pangolin scales.
I used a couple references to get the full body poses down. (Cuz I low-key suck right now. Practice makes better, hopefully.)
