This was day 7(13)!

I really have a soft spot for Abandoned by Disney and its follow ups. It's probably my favorite creepypasta, I just really like the world it created and the pictures it painted. Room Zero is such a horrific and terrifying concept, I love it. I knew when Negative came up on the generator, Photonegative Mickey was going to be my target. I tried to make the suit have some bald patches texture wise, and wanted to draw him in the process of ripping his head off.

Just relistened to Room Zero for the first time in ages and the ending gave me chills. The story is good on its own but the way its narrated, the sound effects, the FUCKING MUSIC.

Like how the sounds of children playing delves into the sound of slowly rising screams (with a few good old stock scream classics lol) and sirens until, in time with the story, it all just cuts to complete and utter silence.

The whisper is done so so well, its like you are standing in a pitch black bombshelter looking into nothing and for a moment it felt like if you dont close the door right now you're going to see whatever terrible thing is down there with you.

And then the story starts to close and that old familiar tune of 'its a small world' plays and you feel all encompassing dread at the very last words.

If you really believe in something, it can be yours……

then maybe God wasn't angry because people worshiped other things. Maybe he was afraid. Maybe if enough people believe in something hard enough, there's a chance it will come to be. Since we're naturally flawed beings, that means there's a very good chance such a thing would become corrupted.

Halloween! My favorite time of year. I always loved scaring myself as a kid, trying to get into the spirit of the season and build up anticipation for the 31st. Did this affect my sleep? Absolutely. Do I now check dark rooms and under beds obsessively? Maybe. But it was worth it. On the Creepypasta Wiki,  I found thrills and chills that no multi-million dollar horror movie could ever give me. 

In this video, I bring you a few of my favorites - the Russian Sleep Experiment, Room Zero, Godzilla NES, and Sonic.exe -  and ask the question - what makes a good creepypasta? Is it the gore, the shock, the brutality? Or does the terror lie in the simpler, subtler things? Only one way to find out!
