A warm hand trailed up and down your back, a warm and calm sensation finding its way along with it. You were laying atop Theo, watching as the movie played on, a soft smile on both of your faces.
“How're you feeling, sweetheart?” Theo asked softly, pulling you back to reality.
“I’m so comfortable,” you mumbled, snuggling impossibly closer. Theo let out a soft chuckle, hugging you close.
He smiled gently, watching as you mouthed along with the words of the movie - the movie you’d begged him to watch with you, but all he could focus on was the soft look in your eyes or how your face changed with emotion at every scene as if you hadn’t watched it a million times before.
After a long silence, you looked away from the television and onto his face, “Is this normal?”
“Hmm? Is what normal?”
“Do you think other roommates cuddle like this?” you asked, making Theo let out a loud laugh.
He stroked your cheek, your eyes closing as you leaned into his touch, “I don’t care about what’s normal or not…- if I want to cuddle with my roommate I damn well will.”
It was your turn to laugh, “I’m not complaining.”
