Hey! My name is Zoe and I'm 24 years old. My roommates are moving out and the people who I had found to take their room just dropped out, so I need to find two new roommates ASAP.
The apartment is a two bedroom in the Autumn Pointe Apartment complex in North Raleigh about five minutes from Triangle Town Center.
Because it's two bedroom there are two options:
Either I need a couple to take over the free bedroom
OR
I need someone to take over the bedroom and someone else to take over a walled off living room as a bedroom.
The total rent for the apartment is $879/mo not including utilities.
As far as splitting the rent... I'd like to keep it at an even $293 split for all three of us (we each pay $293/mo). But I'd be willing to negotiate rent in the interest of fairness.
For a couple moving into the free bedroom, I'd accept a split of 514/365, which is what I've been doing with my former roommates.
For a person in the bedroom and someone in the living room, I'd accept a split of 200/339.50/339.50 so that the person who doesn't have an actual bedroom is paying a smaller amount than those with an actual bedroom.
The master bedroom (which would be the bedroom you move into, couple or otherwise) has a private bath and a walk in closet. The living room has access to a bathroom you'd be sharing with me.
I have two cats, a fat old grumpy one and a lovable kitten.
I'm non-binary transgender. You don't have to know what that means, you just have to be okay with learning and being respectful.
As far as this month goes... The bills were in my roommate's name and he's taking them downstairs, so I need bill deposits. For the power, I need $117, for the internet, I need $37. I'm not sure about the water yet because I need to call them on a week day. There is a prorated amount of rent you would be responsible for paying this month, but I don't know what it is yet. The apartment complex has yet to get back to me on this as my former roommates have not officially named a "move out" date. From what I can tell though, that date is Monday, and I would guess that about $230 would be the amount you'd be responsible for on March 5.
In total, that's about $400.
I am hoping to find roommates I can be friends with, not just live in the same space as. I look forward to hearing from anyone who might be interested in my space!
