I'm actually referring to the general tendency of people to send death threats to people who made "inappropriate" comments. I get the sense people only do it out of some inflated sense of self-worth and because they think it's entertaining to read. Like they think someone else might feed off that feeling of "justice" from seeing the offender get bashed in public.

Anon and non-anon hate actually, maybe I should change the wording haha. It's nothing personal.

I don't know. But he actually rolled his eyes and said something along the lines of "Yeah, there are always a few Castiel stans around." which I personally felt was incredibly rude.

Even more so considering it was a con that had Misha but neither Jared nor Jensen. So, yes, surprise, you might actually find a few people there whose favourite character is Cas. And who don't feel like keeping that a secret at their one chance to talk to an executive producer who actually has the power to make or at least influence some of the important decisions.
