Today over 40 Rio Grande Valley natives along with our tribal relatives (many not pictured) walked to our ancestor Monty, the 900 year old Montezuma Cypress tree, poured 50 gallons of water on its roots. This tree sits in Abram, Texas just beyond the fence in the no man's land.
