Advent Vibes 2
Announcement. Roots of Society Records is releasing second volume of "Advent Vibes". For those of you who don't know what Advent Vibes is, AV (short for Advent Vibes) is a compilation of songs that only the artists in RoS records have created. It's a project that brings all the RoS fam together as one to create a beautiful album. Over the years, RoS grew in numbers and all the artists in our label strive to do one thing... to provide beautiful music for whoever willing to listen. It is a free release, so don't worry about missing out on some amazing music just because you are low on cash. Just vibe out with us and share it around, it's all love! Lot of amazing artists are in Roots of Society and it'd be awesome if you could check it out when it releases! Now, as most of you already know, I am in my hiatus, but I decided to take some time to make something for AV2. Advent Vibes is like a family portrait in a way.. It's where all the ros artists come together as one, it wouldn't be a family portrait if one person of the family didn't show up, it wouldn't be the same.. This is why I, briefly, came out of my hiatus form to participate in upcoming AV2. My lady is also helping us out with AV2 cover, so this one is extra special for me. Song I have created is titled "Cube", no sample, different style, all original composition. It's a story about a boy who is trapped inside of a "cube" and is struggling to be free. This can resemble us in our everyday lives. Have you ever struggled to be different? Go against a strong current? Tried to be yourself and felt as if you were naked in a crowd? Have you ever felt alone even though you were surrounded by so many people? Have you ever been bullied because you were 'different'? Have you lost any friend(s) because of your beliefs or just because of who you are? Have you ever felt confused about who you are? Have you ever felt lost because you lost your identity? Have you ever done something you regret because you fought and lost against peer pressure?.... Have you ever struggled to find original self again? Have you ever been afraid to not be in a popular crowd? or any crowd at all? I dedicate this song to anyone who can relate. I felt all the things I've mentioned above before. It's not easy going through all that stuff by yourself, thank God I was able to find my way back home.. I pray this song can touch your heart and comfort you. I pray this song can lead you back to your original self, I pray that this song can help you find "the way" in anyway possible.
