From The Federalist Papers on Facebook: “The Left Is Going To FREAK When They Hear This Latest Global Warming News...” –C.E. Dyer
Getting straight to the point, this article undermines climate change. Dyer presents the first few sentences of an article from The Telegraph, “Scott and Shackleton logbooks prove Antarctic sea ice is not shrinking 100 years after expeditions” by Sarah Knapton, which says, in short, that Antarctic sea ice barely changed in the past half-century and that the cycle of changing ice is natural—not caused by global warming. By reading further down this article, Knapton reports that Antarctica is far less sensitive to climate change which supports the claim in the article from the Federalist Papers. However, she then presents evidence from NASA that shows effects of climate change on the Arctic ice (North Pole) which are more devastating.
In essence, Dyer links to an article which is supposed to support the idea that climate change is not a fact, and yet the same article says that climate change has more effect on the Arctic sea than the Antarctic sea—a fact that supports the danger of climate change.
On top of this information, Dyer loves to talk about the “left” (i.e. the liberals) in a spiteful manner. It’s click-bait political articles like these seem to enjoy putting “the left” against “the right”. We can never attain true progress as a nation if people just stubbornly cling to their beliefs.

When babies are born severely premature before 30 weeks of gestation and weigh less than 3 pounds, 4 ounces at birth, they are at risk of suffering blindness due to retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). When these or other risk factors are present, qualified medical professionals have a duty to screen, monitor the progression or regression of the condition and provide treatment to newborns to save their sight.
One such professional who should be involved in caring for newborns possibly in danger of preventable ROP blindness is a Retinopathy of Prematurity Coordinator (ROPC). Typically, a registered nurse with thorough experience in neonatal nursing takes on the role of the ROPC. The goal of an ROPC is to ensure that all the necessary professionals involved in providing medical care are on the same page, and that no child falls through the crack until they reach full retinal vascularization.
Among the important duties assigned to the ROPC include:
Identifying which prematurely born babies may be at risk for ROP
Tracking the care given to these at-risk infants to make sure it is provided in a timely manner
Educating the parents of children with ROP about the seriousness of the condition and the importance of follow-up vision care
Coordinating any outpatient care, such as ophthalmology appointments, after the baby is discharged from the hospital
When an ROPC or hospital fails to provide the care, monitoring, treatment for children at risk of vision problems due to retinopathy of prematurity, parents of babies with ROP blindness have a right to seek compensation for these devastating injuries. This compensation can help pay for medical bills, education expenses and other damages. If your newborn is now blind or has serious vision problems caused by ROP, talk with our attorneys today for more information about pursuing legal action.
