I am having. so much fun in my singleplayer

okay so I have so many mods, namely farming ones (croptopia and farmers delight and a bunch of add ons for tools and fertilizers) and betwitchment for witchcraft (I haven't even started getting potions or the Extra Alchemy rings yet)

I've seen ghosts, I've killed ghosts, if I recall right I've died a total of Once at Most. I've built a house foundation only to tear it down, I'm using my avian skin from another semi-rp server from a bit ago, so it's canonically that character, Avi, who's in this world and she's perditio (from the aapects mod) which means she's undead which is SO fun because in the semi-rp server they're DEAD and in the after life of that server with their friends, so how they ended up in THIS world is gonna be fun to figure out

I wanted to show off my minecraft character but had a podcast playing, so I was going through BG music and the first one I picked was so silly and so perfect for them (here's a link to the song by the way, I just recorded it and put it on my blog)

Recently joined the Darkwood SMP (@the-darkwood-smp here on Tumblr)! Today, I finished building my log cabin, for the most part. Screenshots below!

so y'know how I've recently downloaded the hc8 world? yeah I've been having an absolute blast (ramble below)

I've gone around, initially intending to do the storage systems only and then doing my little ranking of them all, but soon I found myself just exploring

It's this strange sort of feeling, almost melancholic or nostalgic in some way, even if I never personally experienced the world. There's something about touring a place you know that no one will come back to, once so full of life and community. You know that not a single soul would know if you stole or maimed or destroyed, yet you still follow manners and customs you know used to be there.

I've found the pumpkin patch and got lucky with a get two items paper; I redeemed the paper. I went through Boatem and wow it is so so laggy! I came across the horse course and went through it with a random horse that was brown with splotches of a lighter colour. I found the Savanna and visited the copper face changing AI whose name I always, always forget but keep thinking is Cooper or Wilson. I've taken a sample from each Hive-dr8 advertisement I pass. I visited Big Eyes and saw Lulu there. I even bought derpcoin at the Evil Emporium in order to buy a nice book to write all my travels into. I've made potions and let Mike do a run through the maze, at the lab. I've taken samples from the Lantern Shop advertisements. I've gotten exactly 45 mushroom blocks from a chest labelled "Free" at Hypno's mushroom, because that was the stray stack. I've gone around exploring and learning how far one place is from another - like how Zedaph's lab is between the swamp and HHF, albeit in the middle of the ocean! I didn't know that before!

And it's just been so, so nice. I love this series and all the joy it's brought me throughout the past- what, two years now? It's immense and exploring the world download has been something I used to shrug off because I didn't see the point, but after this I might start downloading future and possibly past ones too. It's just been such a pleasure looking around, since everything was so familiar yet put in a whole different light. Seeing the videos is one thing, but being in the space is a new experience entirely, and that's just so cool

I was playing on a server cause some others were too, and I finished my new storage area! It's a bunch of themed mini rooms stacked on top of each other. Screenshots below the cut! I'm pretty happy with how each room came out, considering I'm only somewhat the building type

This is the top layer! it's for the stones, the woods, and the barrels on the side are for any food I stock up! The Nether and End things also go in here, as well as gravel and sand variants. Basically a basic storage, anything I may need in a pinch

This is my industry room! The hoppers from the previous room lead into the auto-smelter; it's for ease of use, due to my spacing being 6 by 6 by 3. This room holds stuff like my redstone supplies, ores, armour, tools, etc

This is my organics room, as you might guess! I store my plants, such as my flowers, moss, mushrooms, seeds, bonemeal, leaves, and dirt goes in that double chest! and fun fact, I planted those few mushrooms and I did not expect them to spread
