Sakura as a part of Roppo Ichiza AU

I feel like shit right now so have this little thought that has been in my head for a while.

What if Sakura became part of Roppo Ichiza (I love that group) instead of a Furin student?

From what we know, his guardians/blood family weren't... the best, to put it lightly. So, before he could find out about Furin, he runs away and ends up on Keisei Street. Since he doesn't have Nirei and Suo with him in this scenario, and doesn't know how to interact with people in general, he almost gets taken advantage of.

Until Kanji saves him.

It's a canon-known fact that Nakamura likes Sakura as a friend and an ally. Here, I see him becoming an older brother and taking Sakura in to live with him. Sakura hisses like a cat he is, but goes along because he was promised food.

At first, Kanji doesn't let Sakura fight as a part of the group because overprotective big brother everyone (other members share this instinct, but are more reasonable about it), but changes his mind when Sakura saves his ass and he sees skills. Afterward, Sakura fights regularly and helps with other chores of Roppo Ichiza.

Still, death to you if you touch Sakura (and later, Shizuka).

Due to being part of Roppo Ichiza from the start, Sakura is closest to Shizuka and Ritsu because of their closeness in age. Sakura still sucks at games though which the group teases him about.

It's always fun seeing people be surprised that a lot of the members of the Roppo Ichiza are 16-18 years old and I get it bc they look in their mid 20s, compared to the main protagonists who are in the 15-16 age range But really that's just what the service industry does to a person
