I put together a bit of planting trial with these kohlrabis the a few weeks ago.. 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱Another test of my opinion that openpollinated , old school heirloom variety vegetables pretty much universally have much better flavour (and hence health benefits) than the things they sell in the supermarket..hybrids varieties that you can’t save seed from…🍁🍁 Snails n’wotnot are a cinch to deal with in an organic garden, so this little observation is a cute little result 🐌🐛🐞🐛🐌🐝🐌🐌 the first few plants in the vid are hybrids..they look fine….good’o ..the last few are heirloom varieties and the slugs and snails have gone to town on the poor little things..but thats fine:...the ducks will happily deal with those in short time..🐣🐣🐣🐣 The thing is…. the 🐌s MUCH prefer the old school Kohlrabi seedlings .....nature tends to have #goodtaste ⭐️ When I noticed that I got that cute little shiver behind the ears that happens when MammaGaia concurs with one of my ideas. #nice 💜 #kohlrabi #veggies #organicgardening #organic #paleo #plantbased #openpollinated #F1hybrid #homegardening #openpollinated #farmnotpharm #realfoodforhealth #preventativemedicine #roquewood
