I want to know why it needs a fancy Latin name. It’s not some new plant.
It’s because these people don’t understand how taxonomy and scientific naming works,hence everything needs a two word Latin name no matter how little sense it makes.

When I was a kid, one of my teachers had that problem, though usually only direct sunlight was enough to set him off. I remember being on a field trip once, and one of the other teachers woukd try to trick him into looking up every time we were outside.

5. A time period I dislike or find boring: I was never into the Federal period through the mid 19th century, which is part of the reason I decided to take a War of 1812 internship, and now I’m starting to get it.
10. Favorite historical novel: I’ve been hooked on the Aubreyad this year and am almost done with the series. My favorite nostalgic book is Girl in Blue by Anne Rinaldi, and I admit I still pick it up and read it from time to time. If by historical novel you mean incredibly old novel, then Jane Eyre.
