After hours of watching the clock, Piper was finally off of work. Normally she didn’t pay attention to the time while at work. Today was different though since she had something to look forward to. She was excited to get to see Rory tonight. She had missed the brunette more than she thought she would. Rushing home she began getting ready for her guest. She took a quick shower then cleaned up a little bit of clutter. Finally she made it into the kitchen finally to prepare the food for the night.
The redhead ran around the kitchen getting things ready. The burgers were seasoned and ready for the grill. Her cat sat at a stool by the counter. The seat was Scully’s and she made sure no one ever sat in it. Piper glanced up at her cat and realized she forgot to feed the feline. “Shit, I’m sorry my fluffy little baby. I didn’t feed you when I got home.” Scully gave a little meow before jumping down from her spot. The orange fluff ball made her way over to the food dish. The officer filling the food bowl for her pet. Finishing just in time to hear her doorbell ring. “Perfect timing eh Scully?” The cat was too busy eating to pay attention. Piper chuckled before making her way to the door. Opening it with a dimple filled smile. “Hey Ror, it’s so good to see you. Come on in!”
