How the Trans-Pacific Partnership
There are significant discrepancies between opposing viewpoints on how the TPP will affect intellectual property and the open web. The most paranoid of open web advocates are extremely concerned that the signing of the TPP will spell SOPA like restrictions on internet freedoms. The TPP will not pass through congress anytime soon, after the latest version, endorsed by Obama, was shot down by the house, the next time TPP goes to a vote in our congress, we will have a new president.
