As Helena walked through the endless stalls at the merchants market, she couldn’t help but let her eyes stare in bewilderment. The stalls of products were seemingly endless; merchants all hovering within their stalls, the sound of various loud and excited voices protruding throughout the market. The markets in Sunspear were much more grand in comparison to the markets she had grown accustomed to during her time in Silverhill. Helena kept one hand in her skirt pocket, her fingers tracing small circles on the pouch of gold coins she kept securely tied to the inside of her skirt. Helena had just finished visiting Spun Slik; content with the time she spent with the two sisters from Essos who owned the shop and were helping her with acquiring materials for the new dresses she was in the process of having created for her. With the warmer weather, Helena was hoping to acquire some new silks for a Dornish style dress. After she finished her visit at Spun Silk, Helena decided to venture through the market. As Helena continued walking, the corner of her eye caught sight of an unexpected wave of copper that glowed from the sun’s ray. It belonged to a familiar face; though this face was familiar to her, Helena could not recall why. Helena slowly approached the woman, who was clutching a basket with an animal in tow, their eyes locking. “Good afternoon,” she says politely, nodding her head to the woman.
