Dion is pleased with the progress of rebuilding Rosaria. It's been a long time coming and something he has aspired to do since he was old enough to think about what he might do once he became Emperor. There was a ceremony where he discussed to its citizens what his ideas were, a ceremony where Joshua, in all his beautiful regalia, came and spoke, too, and all their promises of being allies again. It had gone well, better than he had expected. Really, his only goal was to not be met with an angry mob, and he had achieved that and more.
But maybe Joshua could sense Dion's eagerness and want all too well, as they had been eyeing each other during the entire ceremony. Joshua is breathtaking, as always, and Dion couldn't stop thinking about what he might like to do to him afterwards...
Joshua beat him to the punch, as usual. He had wordlessly pulled Dion aside afterwards into some alcove that had long since been abandoned. Dion was going to say something about how well everything had gone, but was interrupted by being abruptly pushed against the wall with Joshua's lips heatedly pressed against his own.
Ah, well, they can talk later, he supposes.
Dion grins against his lips, pulling him closer. This is the start of something beautiful, he thinks, and there's no one else he'd rather have by his side. They made a promise when they were younger, and here they are, finally fulfilling it. What could possibly be better than that?
