Hello! I'm looking for a book or website that collects and groups art depicting the mysteries of the Rosary. I think seeing those scenes through the eyes of history and various artists would be a huge enhancement to my meditation. Have you ever seen anything like that?
I haven’t seen any websites that currently do this, but I am working on a manuscript called Seeing Prayer: Visual Depictions of the Rosary in Early Modern Italian Art which explores exactly what you are seeking. I keep an image library at my Rosary Project tag, though it is not exhaustive of my collection nor exclusively Italian. If I come across any websites or related texts in the future, I’ll let you know!
