It’s been a habit of Hugo’s to not actually be home very often, which in light of the current situation of the wizarding world, he’s actually quite surprised his parents haven’t actually stepped their foot down. It could be because he often lies and says he’s staying with family or they could be genuinely happy their son isn’t holed up in his room for days on end reading various novels, only to retreat from his room when he needs anything else he doesn’t have in his room. It seems as if his mom had some time in the morning to prepare a few small sandwiches that she placed by the front door, with a note addressed to him and his sister that most likely is some kind of words of encouragement of sorts or just a simple note to do chores. He heads up the flight of stairs past his room door and straight for his sister’s. He raises up his hand to knock on the door, but he is hesitates. Hugo feels terrible that he hasn’t really spent any time with Rose, especially after she caught him dancing with Apollo at the Midsummer Night’s Solstice in muggle London. He knows his sister loves and supports him being the way he is, but he just cannot shake the awkwardness of being around her since all he can picture is her initial shock when she found out. He braves through the worries in his head and proceeds to knock on the closed door, hoping that he was not alone in the house. “—Rose?”
