hi i'm mars!! this is the blog reserved to talk about my ocs so i don't clog my main.

i'm not an artist. at all. so this blog isn't going to be for that (unfortunately).

Profiles III - Rose

Rose's life has been forever shadowed by grief. Her brother, then her husband, and then, in a way, her daughter. She took up work as a midwife shortly after her own son was born, because Leon (God rest his soul) had struggled to find decent work after they moved.

She supposes she's not been the best mother herself. Lillian was born the same year she lost her first and only love - was it wrong, to distance herself from her? She loves her children, will always love them, but where Arienn was clever, eager to learn, Lillian caused a great deal of mischief.

Rose tells herself she's better now. She's good to Sophie, and still chips in when Arienn can't puzzle things out alone. She'll write to Lillian one day, see if they can make amends. Her daughter's a good girl, after all, only... misguided.

Age: Fifty-five.
