can all this stop about zara’s death being too gruesome?? sexist?? the reason she dies like that was (imo) 

1 to show us how the pterosaurs are like birds - have you ever seen a bird dive for fish under the surface of water? was it exactly the same as that except she was the fish? yes?

and 2 to bring back the mosa for some more foreshadowing

zara happened to be a girl, and the first named female we’ve seen die in this franchise, and her death was awesome, and it was part of the plot
