Oof... Mythical creatures... You’re appealing to that side of my nerdy self. Off the top of my head, I’d say a loup garou. It’s one among the lycanthropic family, but instead of transforming under the moon, the person can change into a wolf at will.
Though I’m not big on the whole pain deal, so no bones bending and breaking for me to change into such. I’ll be special if that were a thing for them like normal werewolves.

While he wasn’t particularly a great judge of character, Cloud never thought there was anything inherently wrong with Firion, either. He was possibly one of the smarter warriors in their ranks, and able to use a multitude of weapons at once.
