TOLKIEN GEN WEEK 2023
DAY ONE: Family ● Mentorships ● Community From the Fëanorians to the Line of Durin to the Tooks, Tolkien’s works are full of families both loving and contentious. Knowledge and skill are passed down both within families and in more formal contexts like mentorships and apprenticeships. Through it all, these relationships exist within the context of a broader community that can support or complicate any family or learning. This is a day to honor how family, mentorships, and community intersect, or how they operate individually.
These prompts are optional, and we are open to any gen content whether or not you stick to our suggestions!
