Pin-back badge for California-based band The Softies, acquired sometime in the mid 90s.
Did I get this badge when I mail-ordered their first 7″ single, Loveseat, from Slumberland? Or maybe when they played one of their first east coast shows (which had to be a Chickfactor gig, right?).
The memory may have faded, but the badge endures. I had this one pinned to the bag I brought to a rare Softies reunion gig, part of the Chickfactor 25 shows (natch) in London in 2017.
