Rose laughed, watching her crush blink in pure confusion. “I thought Alix was the VIP?” Marinette said slowly. Rose shook her head, “She’s Luka’s VIP. You are my VIP for the concert, Mari.” God, she loved the blush that grew across her face.

Those soft delicate lips that yearned for hers. The way her pale fingers would wrap around her arm forcing her into the world's softest hug. Yeah she could feel safe in this moment. But could she leave everything she had ever known, ever been, behind for this one moment of fleeting happiness? Was there really a future for her and the short blonde? Could Adrien really handle saving the world alone? Could Marinette really let all of the love that she held for him for so long go for this one sweet person? Adrien pushed them together so forcefully. He encouraged it because he probably knew it was for the best. But a life without the man who saved her… a life with the woman who truly loved her… which was right?
