Katal Roja Virtues and their Meanings

Amata Aaryan's virtue is "Generous Love". Generous Love means to be so full of Dea's love that you do your best to share that love with others and to help them in all you do. But be careful not to put other's needs way before yours for that can drain you of your energy. Remember that though it is good to help others but you must also apply that generous love to yourself.

Amata Aheli's virtue is "Pure Love". This means to love people with no judgment and straight from the heart. It also means to fall in love with someone's soul and not their outward appearance,for that is lustful love and is a perversion of this virtue.

Amata Andria's virtue is "Fearless Love". This means to not be afraid to give or receive love,open your heart and love with no boundaries. And do not be afraid to defend who or what you love. But be careful not to cling onto what you love for that creates attachment,and when you form attachment to someone or something,it just leads to suffering once they're gone.

Amata Saffi's virtue is "Wise Love". This means to again,love everyone without judgment but also to be wise enough to know who deserves that love,for if you love someone who you know is toxic that can lead you to being vulnerable and that person can leak their poisonous negative energy into your life. Wise Love also means to learn to be the master of your mind for if you let your mind wander that can lead you to developing thoughts of hate or to form wrong judgments.

Amata Serena's virtue is "Harmonious/Peaceful Love". This means to develop inner peace to develop outward order in your life,outward harmony. This also means to learn to control your emotions for if you let your emotions control you,that can also lead you to making wrong judgments and reckless decisions.

Amata Amora's virtue is simply "Love". This means to embody Dea's love,to acknowledge Her love and to always remember that you are one with Her. Let Her love flow through you that you may be able to uphold the other virtues. For if you turn away from Her love,all that is left is anger and hate.

Amata Fedella's virtue is "Faithful Love". This means to be faithful to Dea and to the world,to be the spark of light in this cruel and dark world so that you can create healing. This also obviously means,if you have a significant other,be faithful to them. For promiscuousness is a perversion of this virtue.

Basic Katal Roja Circlecasting

Light your altar illuminator candles,take three deep breaths and chant the following 7 times:"Mia cara Madre Dio,benedici questo posto,che sia pieno del tuo Amore e Luce." While imagining a bubble of golden-pink light surround you from head to toe.

Then say:"O Grande Madre,proteggimi dal male e dai danni." Snap your fingers and imagine the bubble grow brighter,this signifies the circle being sealed.

Trace the fora over yourself while saying:"In nominie dei Dea Matria,Dea Filia,e Dea Assoluta,benedetta é ella."

Face the Eastern part of the circle,trace the fora in the air and say:"O Amata Amora,Guardian of East and Water,I ask that you be with me in my circle and let there be love within." Bow.

Face the South,trace the fora in the air and say:"O Amata Andria,Guardian of South and Fire,I ask that you be with me in my circle and let there be fearless love within." Bow.

Face the West,trace the fora in the air and say:"O Amata Serena,Guardian of West and Earth,I ask that you be with me in my circle and let there be peaceful love within." Bow.

Face the North,trace the fora in the air and say:"O Amata Saffi,Guardian of North and Air,I ask that you be with me in my circle and let there be wise love within." Bow.

Trace the fora up above you and say:"O Amata Aaryan,Amata Aheli,Amata Fedella,Guardians of Center and Aethyr,I ask that you be with me in my circle and let there be joyous love within." Bow.

Face the altar on your knees,while looking up at your statue/image of Dea say:"Dearest Mother,please know my heartfelt thoughts,and also come into my heart and soul. Make yourself known to me and fill me with your grace and knowledge. Walk with your mantle of protection around not only me,but all my loved ones. Help me by lending your aid in this working,and give me the strength of your mighty sword to cut down darkness and adversity. Bring love,prosperity,health,and harmony to my home and family. Loving Mother,I bear witness to your power and accept your unconditional love. Amen!"

Now you can either pray,or perform whatever magickal work you need to do.

Katal Roja Déanism

The Katal Roja tradition is a branch/form of Déanism/Filianism,created by Anael Lovecraft(@child-of-divine-love),that focuses/places emphasis on the "Unconditional Love" aspect of Dea. Those in the Katal Roja tradition are known as Rojani Déanists or simply Rojanis. Katal Roja translates to "Rose of Love",Dea is the fire-y Rose of Love of the universe,She birthed everyone & everything out of joy & love. The Katal Roja tradition still reveres the feminine trinity,but all of Dea's aspects are sushuric(loving) in form. God the Mother is known as Amara(which means "lovely forever"),God the Daughter is known as Adora(which means "beloved one"),and the Great Mother is referred to as Zaynah(which means "lovely one"). The Katal Roja tradition focuses on spreading the love of Dea into the world,Rojanis practice bhakti yoga and magick to become mediums in which Dea's love works through them to help/heal/renew the earth and all who live in it. Like the petals of a Great Rose,we are petals fallen from the Rose of Love and scattered about the earth to help Her gather Her children so that they may return to eternal communion with Her. Ideally,Rojanis should strive to be vegan or vegetarian since the love of Dea should be extended to all creatures. In other words,the path of a Rojani,is the path of loving kindness.
