So sorry idk if this was your question or if I misunderstood I couldn't really tell but - when I first saw "cup" in a recipe I also asked "Aren't all cups different sizes?" And the response I got was it's just a name for a particular measurement in the US, not someone advising to fill a drinking glass with whatever. A friend of mine recently got measuring 'cups' so she can follow US recipes without conversion. Passing the answer on in case it helps lol. Good luck with cooking!

The thing is I don’t know which of my many many cups matches a US cup, so I have no clue which one to use in that case. I also don’t know where I could get a “standard” US cup to do what your friend is doing, but it sure would make a lot of US recipes much easier!

34. How has learning languages impacted your life? oh boi I’ve made some very good friends along the way! And I would say french has allowed me to express myself better too.. It’s odd but I find it easier to talk about difficult topics in french as opposed to English or Farsi. It’s something about knowing that not many people in my life are going to know what I’m saying that comforts me

I literally have a backpack that’s specifically the old measurement fml. Do you know what changed about the size requirements?

My current bag is like 45x25x30 so no way it’s going to pass. I know for a fact it doesn’t fit under an airplane seat if full.

Admittedly it’s been a while since I’ve flown with them (thank god!), but last time it fit

Fffffff, I'm really sorry you are having to face all that shit over 1 point! That's outrageous. D seems the safest option, and is still probably less expensive than A in terms of time, money and emotion. It's rubbish that there isn't a fairer way to do it though like a cancellation and refund policy on retake bookings or something. Good luck getting through this.

I will probably end up going for D, but it will hurt a lot. Especially since I actually really need that money right now. The idea of spending 600€ that can in the end amount to just throwing money in the trash...that’s a lot of money to pay for peace of mind. I’m going to spend more than my entire monthly wage on this shit. And I’ve already wasted almost 1000€ on Bar Association related fees. It just never ends.
