Watching most of these new releases and adaptations and barely interacting with online opinions about things is the best choice I could have possibly made

I am so beyond tired of the constant outrage machine that wants to hate everything so badly

Things aren't perfect. We used to be ok with that. Now every tiny deviation spawns 5 million angry clickbait videos to feed the grifter ecosystem.

Legitimate criticism of things has its place of course, but this is not it. It's constant performative outrage for its own sake. Often spread by people who haven't even watched the thing they're hating on. It's exhausting and it has sucked all the joy out of so many fandoms.

I'm just so done with all this.

What I enjoy the most about Count Binface’s candidacy in the Clacton by-election is that he’s not there as a joke candidate to turn a serious election into a farce. The by-election was a farce already thanks to Farage’s action.
