i've been watching your kindness keep a, lonely company look at the fire and think of me. i've been watching you creep around my wandering feet, trying for years to flee.

deep within the Gladekeeper’s home sits The Aurora Union, home to a wide range of dragons, from the oldest imperial to the youngest skydancer. come visit the retired veterans who have made the aura oasis their home in order to live out the rest of their days in peace. or perhaps you'd rather follow the strict scheduled of life with the aura temple, where those serving in active duty go through a long day to keep their tasks in order. each dragon helps another, and together they live peacefully, happily. that being said, it’s unwise to travel into the wild, untamed jungle alone, for something far more dangerous then The Shade itself lurks, waiting to strike.

welcome to the aurora union! found here, made up of two different sub-factions, the aura temple and the aura oasis. perks listed below!!

Located deep within the North of Gladekeepers reaches is the Aura's Oasis, a large palace that, with Cybele's intervention is overrun by greenery. In the center is a massive, towering redwood tree that is flowing with power and magic, putting off an air of serenity over the Oasis. here is where Cybele dutifully cares for the prosperity and lives of those who wish to not see blood and war for the rest of their days, or to care for those who are injured in war before they go back to their posts. those living here are guarded by the Aura Temple, to ensure their rest and relaxation is kept for many years to come.

on the other side of the Aura's Oasis' location is the Aura Temple. About a 2 mile walk from the Oasis is where the warriors of the aurora union reside. Deep in the wild jungle is an abandoned temple that the mages, thieves, a host of angels, priestesses, monks, and various other roles have taken up residence. Here is where they train and protect the residents in the Oasis, and each dragon takes an oath of faith before residing in the temple. Like the Oasis, there is a giant, towering redwood tree in the center of the temple, providing energy and magic to the area, and pumping out energy and life to those who inhabit the temple. Lynai runs the Aura Temple, swearing in those who wish to reside and dealing with daily functions.

so i sat and thought for a little bit about my lore, and after many rough ideas, i have one massive rough idea for the aurora union

the oasis and the temple are jointly called the aurora union, but dragons who live in the union just refer to each place as the oasis or the temple

the oasis houses retired dragons, war vets to be specific. it also doubles as a healing and recovery center for the active dragons who live in the temple, and the temple is home to a wide variety of dragons, mages, a host of angels, warriors, and soon to be a troupe of robin hoods merrymen

my clan isnt a city like most places are, its locked away and hidden within the jungles of nature flight’s territory, and you need a special escort from the inside to even find the union, let alone get inside

the oasis is also home to an elite faction of warriors called the guard union (name will more then likey be changed if i can find a better suiting name) whos skill can be better used outside of the temple, called the guard union. its run by mirah, my clans queen, and has roughly 25-30 dragons enlisted, but only about 10 will be in my lair

the union has a low key monarchy, key and mirah are the king and queen, and their daughter noeliea is the princess. but, key and mirah dont hold any real power. any shifts in the clan go by Cybele, an nature oracle

most oracles get visions of the future, sudden flashes that arent expected cybele has to seek them out in nature, most call a bluff before cybele smiles and wraps a vine around her arm with her magic and tells them their darkest secret. they dont think shes bluffing after that

the temples main goal is to do everything in their power to keep the ones who live in the oasis safe, and the ones in the oasis handle all the political aspects of things

they have a good system going, and the union is on high key lockdown always as the ones who live there are more then likely being hunted, but the ones who do live there can come and go as they please. however, any outsider who doesnt have an explicit invitation approved by cybele, aries, key, or mirah is likely to be executed before they get within 3 miles of the union.

there are of course, some exceptions, like wanderer. he’s a wonderful (snark) dragon. but will be explained at a later date.
