John Lennon’s 5th single was recorded on 15 February 1971, produced by Lennon, Yoko Ono, and Phil Spector.

While the single was popular (peaking at #11 in the US, and #6 in the UK), Lennon later dismissed the song as “embarrassing” and “ten years too late.”

The Plastic Ono Band for this recording was Jim Gordon (drums), Rosetta Hightower (backing vocals), Bobby Keys (sax), Billy Preston (keyboards), and Klaus Voormann (bass).
