Maybe it won't be Laurel in the coffin, maybe it's her dad. That's explain why Felicity would be so upset, because it'd break her mother's heart. I refuse to believe that they'd kill off Laurel

Yes, but that’s not that game-changing. I mean, sure, Quentin is part of a team somehow, but he’s not such a main on TA. He was my original guess, but I don’t think we can’t save Laurel by now and honestly, after what happened with the IOO, I want to be prepared. So it’s better for me to think it’s Laurel and be as ready as I can rather than have hope.

Marie was stunned for a moment, but only one moment. After that tiny group of seconds was over she responder in like. Fingers tangling in the blonde’s hair, kissing her back with fierce intensity. She had no idea what brought this out in her lover but she was willing to buy every single share of it. When they parted she grinned and took a few unnecessary breaths. “I am so glad your patience ran thin.”

River took a sip of wine from the cup offered by the serving boy. It did little to ease her nerves, as this day was too important for her to relax properly. Very soon, she knew that she would be neck deep in negotiations for peace between her kingdom and a tribe of warriors that had been a bother to the country for several generations. 

If she could just find a solution there might be peace between her people and the warriors, and then River could focus her attention on more important things, she thought, as the great hall began to fill with the queens advisors and other members of the nobility. Several of them tried to talk to her, but she waved them all away, preferring to focus on the task at hand.

Soon, trumpets announced the arrival of visitors, and the clamor in the hall died down. River stood and called for the doors to be opened. Clasping her hands behind her back, River awaited the arrival of her guests.
