Rowan had been lost in his head all day. His earbuds were in, even if he was just listening to the same three songs on repeat. The boy’s attention was elsewhere, so it was only a matter of time before he ran into someone. “Oof,” Rowan exclaimed as his body collided with someone else.

Danae could not have been more bored with how slow the ball was moving. Dinner had already past a while ago, so the Smee girl had just been sitting with one of her friends, Rosie, for the past half hour or so. That was until the next song started to play. She tugged at her friend’s wrist, “C’mon Rosie, we need to dance. This is one of my favorite songs!”
