Scorpius closed his copy of Quidditch Through the Ages, tucking it into the drawer on his bedside table. He had been re-reading the rules of the games and different techniques players could use once practices started up again. He changed out of his uniform, throwing it into the hamper and putting on a pair of trousers and quidditch sweater.
He made his way out of the common room and up countless stairs until he had reached the Gryffindor common room. Realizing that this was probably a death wish waiting to happen, he knocked on the portrait door and waited until someone opened it. After a minute or so a Gryffindor girl opened the door, she looked no older than third year and asked him who he was looking for. When he mentioned Rose the younger girl nodded and indicated for him to wait outside while she told her he was here.
