The whole thing kinda screams “lazy writing” to me, you know? Tbh I think it would have been a lot more interesting if the detective had showed up at the /end/ of the episode to arrest Daphne, and that was the cliffhanger instead.
I agree, but then again, this is the tv station that has an hp marathon every weekend and names at least 1 character Toby on each show o__O

a lot of people have been speculating that it's going to be Allison (for various reasons) but i'm mostly concerned about it because the writers, as well as many fans, don't seem to care about female characters, especially Allison, and probably wouldn't have anything against killing off a main female character for no reason
