it’s been a WHILE since my last rewatch, wow, which means that if my feelings changed on some stuff in the last couple of years, i have no way of confirming that that’s how i would actually feel if i had another go at the show rn

a character I didn’t used to like but now do: i’m trying to remember if i ever disliked a character on this show??? like, there are the assholes like maybourne, but i still hate those. like??? idk. i was like 10 when i first watched sg-1, idk what was 10-year-old me thinking. i hope she liked jonas.
a character I used to like but now don’t: i tried to be sympathetic to pete, because it felt like he was mostly targeted for shipper reasons, but nope, he really was a creep at the beginning of his relationship with sam.
a character I’m indifferent about: I DON’T KNOW, I LOVE ALL THESE LOSERS, WELP.
a character who deserved better: JANET FRAISER, DON’T TALK TO ME (but also jonas quinn, like did they actually kill him offscreen??? i can’t even remember)
a ship I’ve never been able to get into: idk? i guess i never had a daniel x jack phase, and i know that they’re popular in the fandom (but then again, i usually don’t ship fandom’s non-canon m/m ships, so that isn’t saying a lot)
a ship I’ve never been able to get over: ......i would say sam/jack but...... i am.... actually....... not that much highkey about them anymore....? *avoids tomatoes* it’s more of a nostalgia ship at this point to me but that’s never gonna get old, for sure
a cute, low-key ship: sam x janet but sam x cam is also good and pure
an unpopular ship but I still enjoyed it: i’m not sure how popular/unpopular they were, but sam x martouf i guess, i loved my tok’ra son. i’m mixed myself about daniel x vala at this point.
a ship that was totally wrong and never should have happened: FIVE x SAM WAS HOPEFULLY NOT AN ACTUAL SHIP BUT STILL WHAT THE FUCK
my favourite storyline/moment: YOU BLOW UP ONE SUN AND SUDDENLY EVERYONE THINKS YOU WALK ON WATER. but also every sam!centric episodes. (remember death knell, because damn.) also the 2020 episode. also the fucking 200th episode. EVERYTHING WITH THE ASGARDS. THERE WAS A LOT.
a storyline that never should have been written: FIVE IS A CREEP, pete was a terrible excuse of a love interest for sam, who already suffered through some disturbing romantic storylines, but also why was vala the mother of the ori antichrist, like i’m pretty sure that that was a thing that happened, AND WHY DID JANET FRAISER DIE NO
my first thoughts on the show: probably some squeeing????? which basically translates to i love this fun adventure show with the badass science lady
