What should Zuckerburg Do

This question has been getting thrown around for some time now. The future of Facebook is in question because of the plummeting stock price after going public earlier this year.

The problem is that Zuck doesn't seem to be taking the falling price of the stock too seriously which can be a bit of a problem when you have stockholders. Or is it? Would you show up in a hoodie to an important meeting with world’s biggest financiers? No you wouldn't. The incident got so much press it was named "hoodiegate" People were pissed because he comes across like he doesn't give a damn about his investors. So should he step down?

I say no. Mark Zuckerburg didn't build the biggest social network in history by playing dress up for anyone. He didn't make Facebook work by pandering to anyone or doing the things that other people (99% of all humans) thought he should do. What he has done is lived his life on his own terms and help to define an entire industry doing it his way.

I would love to know what you guys think

Ok so if you think this is the right way to use a QR code we need to talk.  The sad thing is that so many businesses are using QR codes like this.  I saw one I kid you not on the side of a bus asking me to scan for more info.  Am I suppose to run along side of the bus, tell the bus driver to hold still then back away until I get the thing in focus because the QR code is bigger than my head!  Gheez!

Dead Ann Walking

Anne Curry is getting the boot from the today show?  Only after a few months or has it been a year already that she took over.  Anyhow I think it's pretty sad that she's not working out after spending so much time waiting and wanting the anchor spot.  There are  rumors that Savanna Guthrie or Natlalie Morales could get the spot.  Neither of which I fell have proven themselves as seasoned enough to do the tough interviews.  Not to take anything away from them but I actually like Ann Curry.

She's not the best interviewer but I've seen her get pretty tough with people and ask the hard questions.  I think it's safe to say that no one can show as much caring for a heart felt story like Ann.  From a PR perspective I think NBC should have been able to keep a lid on this situation and should be ashamed of themselves for letting something like this get out before Ann was ready for people to know.

All of this is just speculation since nothing has been confirmed as of yet but Ann did acknowledged the show's poor ratings. Back  in the August issue of   Ladies’ Home Journal, she said, "You worry, 'Am I not good enough? Am I not what people need? Am I asking the right questions?' When people say negative things or speculate, you can't help but feel hurt."

Curry has worked for 15 years on "Today," she was promoted to co-anchor from the newsdesk in June 2011 when Meredith Vieira left the show.   Now of course NBC has yet to respond with comments on this developing story.

How to Use Google Plus For Business

Pin It Here's a quick tip to help increase your post rank in Google and a reason to use Google Plus.  Did you know that when you search and are logged into Google that your results will grab the indexed information that's related to your Circles in Google Plus.  That's right the top search results that are returned is gathered first from relevant information in Google Plus.

Now you have to be logged in for this to work, but how often are you not logged into Google to check email.  All the time right?  So think about that for a minute.  Most people that circle you are also logged in.  If you have a Google Business page when they search say SEO or "Social Media for Offline Business" you are going to show up in the search results because they are in your circles.
