Kos & 11-17!!

11. Bad or petty habits

Kos is probably the pettiest person alive. Did you insult Vinn behind his back? Are you in general being a tool to those she cares about? oh dear you’ve been assigned toilet cleaning duty for the foreseeable future. You made a comment about her favorite dessert being shit on one of her bad days? look what’s on the menu for the next three weeks. 

Using her position to change minor things is probably one of Kos’s worst habits. She does it compulsively, most noticeably to Vinn. When she has a vision of a mission going wrong and sees Vinn’s fighter go down, or of him dying, she reassigns him, just like that. And of course he notices, and because her OTHER bad habit is never telling anyone when she’s worried or stressed about something he just gets frustrated until he confronts her. and she’s like “bUT YOU WOULD HAVE DIED” and he’s like “well just tell me next time.” communication is important, kids.

12. Grudges and vendettas

Kos is. not a fan of Roz. At all. She played semi-nice when Roz was in the first order, but she never hid how distrusting she was of the other girl, and the fact that Roz not only murdered her great aunt but then ended up as the one being comforted after the fact really stuck with her. Kos holds that grudge close, and it’s gone as far as to put a distance between her and Kylo, becuase she realized through that that Kylo is not a person who puts others before himself if he doesn’t get anything for it, and therefore he doesn’t gain the trust that they were slowly building together. Because he hasn’t earned it. 

As far as vendettas go, Kos gains and deals with them as she sees fit. She doesn’t currently hold any, she doesn’t see taking Roz’s life as payment for her great aunt’s, for example, but other things she deals with almost instantly. someone hurts Vinn, they get their reckoning within the week. No one but Roz has actually wronged Kos in such a way that she feels that she has to retribute it,. Only exception to this being Marvelle, who she would kill at any given time if given the slightest excuse.

13. What gets them flustered

VINN! further, anything that can make her lose her train of thought. Kos is extremely thought driven, and very good at focusing, which is why Vinn being the way he is and catching her continuously off guard was something that really stuck with her. Finding herself thinking of things she didn’t plan on thinking of and not being able to distract herself from it is new and distracting, and it flusters her to no end. Beyond that, someone in general being affectionately over the top might do it as well, but that would usually have to be in private. She also loves kisses to parts of her body that aren’t her lips very much she has a bit of a body worship kink okay and being brought proof that she has emotions for someone would also do it. Like, should someone point out her reasonings for doing certain irrational things, and go “now why would you do a thing like that?” and the reason is clearly implied that it’s out of love or favor, she gets closed off and her hair brightens and she goes “shut up.”

14. Ingrained habits/forces of habit

Kos is a serial organizer. She organizes her thoughts, her files, her reports, and her emotions. This is largely from her childhood, being raised as an advisor and the following education as such. This is something she and Triis both share. She also can’t help but see situations from an advisory point of view, see the outcomes and the reasonings and try to compensate for other people’s emotions and lack of logical judgement. She can’t help but always try to be a step ahead of people’s motives, which is why she does a lot of the things she does. She also can’t seem to just answer a question if asked about a judgement call. If you ask her what she thinks about a situation, you’re going to get various outcomes and ramifications of each decision that could be made, but in all that you’d be hard pressed to find her own opinion, because Kos really doesn’t think that way either. She has a hard time putting herself first, and thinks largely in collateral damage. She’s very detail oriented,but also very big picture too, if that makes sense.

15. What it takes to make them cry

man, I don’t even really know. She cried for Carryllanne, that’s for sure, but since then everything’s been sort of... different. Mostly it’s her visions, visions of things going wrong, of her losing the people she cares about, of losing control of herself in such a way that leaves the people she loves vulnerable. Either way, what it takes is something overwhelming, she needs to feel the pressure for days and days and days before breaking down, and even then it has to sneak up on her, she’s got to be tormented by a single detail, or she’s got to be unable to change something that she feels needs to be changed. Most of the time tears sneak up on her, like when she’s sleeping, or when she’s feeling numb in the shower and finally breaks.

16. Dark secrets/’skeletons in the closet

Kos really??? doesn’t seem to have any. The most I can think of is her visions themselves, which she doesn’t always share. Perhaps her penchant for swaying toward the dark side, which she also doesn’t mention all that much. Kos is really really susceptible to the pull of the darkside, and at times she doesn’t feel the necessary emotion that keeps people from going to far. This is why I originally wrote her as going full dark after Carryllanne’s death, because she had no one but Kylo to really check her impulses, but then Vinn and the others arrived and she was saved. However, on missions where she’s away for a long time, or places where she doesn’t get to see Vinn or Rhell or the others very much due to scheduling or just being really busy, that numbness creeps in and she starts being a bit too cruel, not letting up on enemies when she should, being a tinge too bloodthirsty and unflinching when it comes to death on missions. One of my favorite things about Kos is that she is the epitome of what could happen if someone lost everything they cared about and have nothing to hold them back, only she found the people she needed right at the correct time. 

17. Regrets

Kos also doesn’t really have any regrets? It sort of comes with the territory of seeing the future. She doesn’t have to worry so much about what ifs and what might have happened, becuase she’s seen those futures and they weren’t ones she was comfortable living in. She’s seen what might have been and she doesn’t believe that she could have done anything differently, and if she does, she doesn’t believe it would have been worth it.

Ria 14-19 OR Kassie 2-9!!

2. Their emotional/moral weak spotsKassie has very strong morals, but anything having to do with people she cares about? Anything having to do with children?? Anything to do with Ross?? She’s died for Ross more than once like Kassie is weak to anything Ross could do.  She’s a total pushover. If you can poke at the people she cares about, she’s viable to do anything. 

3. Scars or painful spotsIt isn’t so much a painful spot but she’s very sensitive to people touching in between her shoulder blades, and she has a long scar running from her right shoulder blade to the middle of her back. She also has scars on her left knee from falling while climbing some rocks. (She probably should have gotten stitches from them, but was too scared to go.) 

4. Best places to kiss on their bodyThe insides of her elbows, under her ears, along her collar bone and her tum are good places, HER FOREHEAD AND HEAD ARE PREFERED, and if you kiss her back she will melt. 

5. Guilty pleasuresKassie very unironically loves old shitty cartoons, and every once and a while she will listen to the edgy bands she enjoyed from when she was 13. 

6. Their vices (physical or emotional)She has a thing for the people who are trying to kill her LMAO. ESPECIALLY M. Fae. She has a sort of hypnotic draw to The Witch Boy (who she is terrified of, attractive or not), and he can get her to do nearly anything, whether Kassie wants to or not. (Think Kilgrave from Jessica Jones.)

7. Their tickle spotsShe is ticklish nearly everywhere, but ESPECIALLY near her ribs and her tummy

8. Bad memories/experiencesKassie grew up astranged from her mother, and had a strained relationship with the rest of her family, so any memories pertaining to her family aren’t super great. And he has a whole thing where she was in love with Harrison for a while, and he kept her around just to feed off of her power bc he’s a fucking creep. My girl has PTSD like this list could go on forever but those are the main two things. 

9. Humiliating memoriesOnce when she was in elementary school, Kassie was invited to a sleepover just to be made fun of, and she was often asked out as a joke in middle school. ON A LIGHTER NOTE, once Kassie was trying to show off, then misstepped and fell flat on her face in front of a bunch of pretty girls, she has choked on her own spit trying to tell a joke on MORE than one occassion, and when she first got her abilities she accidentally projected the thoughts she was thinking about someone TO them. (Imagine just going about your day, when someone else’s voice pops into your head saying “Really? That brand is kind of overrated, but you do you I guess.”)
