What a dog. Or perhaps a cat is the best comparison? Light-heartedly threatens you at your simple affections just because he doesn't know how to handle it due to his inexperience with relationships.
However as soon as you scratch under his jaw, he crumples and melt in your hands as you coo at his flustered face. He'll deny even going soft after a while though. Maybe you should kiss his mouth to shut him out. It'll work for at least a minute and that's being generous.
Don't do it in front of the others, he has a reputation. (Do it anyway he won't do anything to you, his one and only)
However it is more intimate when you two are alone at the dead of night where the two of you are entangled together until the next morning. He'll let it slide this once; spoiler alert, he keeps letting it slide.
Jaha Lee
As soon as you decide to try to scratch his chin, he's leaning in towards you in content. Doesn't matter if it's in public, he'll simply cut them off literally if they dare say anything bad. Since you're going to touch him, why not lend a kiss at the corner of his lips as well.
After the first time you've done it, he seeks it out as if he's a puppy waiting to be praised with some scratches. Maybe his past self is seeping through him begging for that. He'll enjoy it as long as he can just because it's you.
If you stop one day on the account of being busy with the others in his care or on other things, he sulks for your touch. Like a dog, nudging you through actions but not verbally saying it nd when you do catch on, he's the happiest he's ever been. Thankfully you managed to spare the others that were going to be put under his wrath if this goes on longer.
Namgung Deso
He loves it as much as he loves you. It causes a strong effect after a particular annoying day or an uneventful day. Before his reincarnation, he pushed you away to focus on his martial arts training only to end up dead yet here he is again with a new goal and with you closer than before.
You none the wiser of his past and he'd keep it that way by being better for you. He'd let you do this all you want as long as he's with you. Unfortunately there are times where he couldn't get his daily affection which makes him grumble more and easier to irritate much to the delight of the 2nd strategist, Jecheon.
His original plan to leave the namgung clan and live on the countryside with you by his side may be ruined but he'll be damned if he'll let the two of you suffer like before. So hold him tight when he engulfed you in his embrace as he thinks of a plan.
- This is very much the surface I can pin down so if anyone would like to correct me, go ahead.

You have known your sahyung, Chung Myung, for far too long.
If someone is a martial artist, there’s no way they haven’t heard his name.
The Plum Blossom Saint.
Mount Hua’s strongest disciple, whose name has spread across the Central Plains like wildfire.
At the mere mention of him, bandits scatter and evil sects fall silent in fear. His strength is said to be invincible, something no one can surpass. Not even the elders of other sects can overcome him.
And because of that, those martial artists who have made names for themselves can’t help but scoff in jealousy.
Who wouldn’t?
Not even you were safe from that envy.
You are just another of Chung Myung’s fellow disciples, someone who got swept up in his overwhelming presence.
Another future elder who will likely die with nothing left behind at Mount Hua, nothing but a name etched faintly among countless others.
You envied Chung Myung.
But that doesn’t mean you hate him.
You are sworn brothers within the sect. How could you possibly hate someone who greets you with that bright, unrestrained grin every time he sees you?
The same person who pats your back after training, as if your efforts are worth something.
The same man who drags you away in the dead of night, sharing stolen jars of alcohol beneath the quiet glow of the moon, your shoulders brushing as laughter lingers in the cold air.
You envied him.
And yet, at the same time.
Your love for him has only continued to grow.
Sure, he’s an arrogant bastard. He looks down on anyone weaker than him, ignores the elders, and doesn’t even bother listening to the sect leader.
When you first met, he didn’t even try to hide his disdain.
“How can an elder be this weak?”
“If this is Mount Hua’s future, then we’re doomed.”
Out of frustration, you challenged him to a spar.
And of course–you lost.
Every single time.
Again and again, you were struck down, your body twitching on the cold ground, sword knocked from your grasp, wounds aching as you struggled to even breathe.
But somehow, it only brought you closer–close enough to earn the title he gave you. Sworn brothers.
And yet, that name has never quite fit what you truly feel for him.
You know you’re weak. There’s nothing particularly remarkable about you, nothing that could bring glory to your sect.
But Chung Myung…
He was the only one who ever saw you, even when you were surrounded by countless outstanding disciples.
He kept saying things like.
“You’re strong. You’re just too blind to see it.”
You never fully understood what he meant.
But those words meant everything to you.
Because someone had acknowledged your effort, that someone had seen you.
How could you not fall in love?
The way he fights, the way he moves every motion is sharp, precise, and overwhelming.
The body he’s honed through relentless training… one you’ve shamelessly masturbate every night.
If the heavens had ever granted you the power to stop time, the first thing you would have done was take his virginity.
You were well aware that, as a Taoist, you were meant to cast aside earthly desires.
But that didn’t stop you from praying.
Again and again, you whispered your wishes to the Primordial Lord of Heaven.
And somehow it seemed the heavens had answered.
Because right now, in this quiet mountain forest, the strongest man in the world stood before you.
Chung Myung’s face was flushed, his gaze wavered as he looked at you, shyly spoke
“Y/N… would you like to dual cultivate with me?”
He was so flustered that he quickly began justifying himself, words tumbling over each other.
“It’s for your cultivation. You need to improve faster if you want to keep up with me.”
And he wasn’t wrong, Dual cultivation was a legitimate method one that allowed martial artists to exchange and refine their energy through physical union.
Put more pervertedly, having sex can make you stronger.
And you who had long harbored feelings.
Who had spent countless nights wishing for something like this.
Who were you to refuse him?
Your lips lifted into a slow smirk as you grabbed his waist, pulling him closer.
Chung Myung flinched at first, his body tensing–then a soft groan slipped past his lips when he felt your hot breath brush against his ear, your voice low as you whispered,
“Bend over.”
At your words, his body moved almost instinctively. He turned, bracing himself against a nearby tree, hands pressed against the rough bark as he bent forward.
It was as if he had been hypnotized.
Hypnotized by your dick.
By the overwhelming need burning through him.
Chung Myung, who had never bowed to anyone, was now desperate to have you right there.
His heart pounded wildly in his chest, each beat louder than the last.
A sharp inhale left him when he felt the cold air brush against his skin as you slid his pants down.
He glanced back over his shoulder only to freeze.
Your gaze was fixed on him, intense, unrelenting. It locked onto him.
Heat rushed to his face as embarrassment crept in, his teeth sinking into his lower lip before he snapped,
“Can you hurry up? This is embarrassing!”
Spank!
“Hnn!”
Chung Myung jolted, completely caught off guard when your palm struck his left cheek.
“Be patient.”
Your voice was firm and commanding.
It made his stomach tighten, something unfamiliar coiling deep inside him.
When he looked back again, your eyes had changed into something dark.
Something filled with both want and lust.
It sent a shiver down his spine, it only made him harder.
Seeing him like this–bent over, tense, desperate, his strong body betraying him.
Made something click inside you.
Something you hadn’t fully understood until now.
This feeling of control of wanting to take apart the man who had always defeated you, who had always stood above you in every spar.
It sent heat rushing through your body, your breath growing heavier.
Your clothed dick pressed forward, the tip nudging against him, teasing and proding.
You had immediately started. You brought two fingers up to his lips and ordered.
“Open.”
Chung Myung obeyed without hesitation.
That alone made your heart race.
You couldn’t believe someone like him could be this… obedient.
Your fingers slid into his mouth, playing with his tongue until they were thoroughly coated with his saliva. He wrapped around them instinctively, warm and wet.
When you pulled your fingers out, you swore you heard a faint desprate whimper escape his lips.
It made you grin.
Slowly, you pushed your two fingers inside him.
“Mhm… ha…"
Soft moans slipped from him it was quiet at first.
But your fingers didn’t stop, they went deeper, searching, pressing, exploring. Until you found it.
“Hnn! Ngh~ ahh!”
A sharp, high pitched moan broke from his throat.
You exhaled heavily, your eyes darkening.
Cute.
He was too cute.
Chung Myung’s body trembled from the unfamiliar pleasure. He turned his head sharply toward you, glaring though tears that had begun to gather at the corners of his eyes.
“Be gentle! This is my first time!”
You blinked, then spanked him again before speaking,
“Did I give you permission to speak?”
“Permission my ass–”
Your fingers pressed against that spot again.
“Nghh~!"
His head dropped forward, his body shaking uncontrollably.
He was confused, so confused.
What were you even touching inside him to make him feel this weak?
His legs trembled, barely able to support him.
Just one more touch, and he felt like he might come undone.
And you seemed to read him easily as you kept hitting that spot.
Schlop! Schlop!
The lewd sounds your fingers made only embarrassed him more.
“Haa… Y-Y/N, slow down…”
Chung Myung whimpered, sounding utterly helpless.
If he had known sex would feel this intense, he would have trained for it.
Your lips brushed against his ear again as you whispered lowly,
“I’m only using my fingers, and you’re already trembling?”
“Ba–bastar–ahhn!”
You shut him up by pushing in another finger.
The moment he felt three fingers inside him, Chung Myung’s eyes rolled back as pleasure overwhelmed him.
“Ughh! Sh-shit”
His legs trembled as a warm liquid trailed down his thighs, dripping onto the grass below.
His eyes were blown and mind had gone completely hazy from the sensation.
“We’re not done yet.”
As you spoke, you pulled your fingers out, and your tip pressed against his puckering rim.
You teased him slowly and agonizingly.
“You want it?”
Of course Chung Myung wanted it.
Your cock was so thick, he wanted to feel it inside him, to feel that fullness stretch him open.
To have you take his virginity.
Without hesitation, Chung Myung reached back and spread his cheeks himself.
“Please, Y/N… I want you inside me…♡”
The Plum Blossom Saint, reduced to a cock drunk mess.
Feeling satisfied, your tip pushed slowly inside him, creating lewd sounds as it gently entered.
Chung Myung’s tongue lolled out at your girth.
It was so thick that his legs completely weakened and gave out, but you were quick to catch him, hooking both of his legs into your arms.
The position was embarrassing, but Chung Myung could only focus on the way your dick entered him.
From this angle, it went deeper and deeper–
Even deeper than your fingers had reached.
“Eugh–!”
Another embarrassing high pitched moan escaped him when you finally bottomed out inside him.
You gritted your teeth at his tightness.
Chung Myung was a virgin, after all–this was the tightest you had ever felt.
But more than that, he was wet.
You didn’t know a man could be like this, so slick, making it so easy for you to slide inside him.
His hole twitched lewdly, as if it wanted to swallow your entire cock.
But between the two of you, Chung Myung was the messier one.
Your hips began to move, rutting into him.
Fwop!
The sharp thrust made his back arch, his head thrown against your shoulder.
The pleasure rushed straight to his head, leaving him completely dazed.
“Ahhn~♡”
You didn’t stop.
You kept thrusting, abusing his hole as it tightened with every movement.
Fwop! Flop!
Lewd sounds echoed throughout the forest.
But none of it made Chung Myung want to stop.
“Ooh~ big… so big! Y/N!”
He wanted more.
More of your cock hitting the deepest part of his ass.
Thud!
You suddenly pushed him down onto the ground, his head buried low while his ass was raised in the air.
The way Chung Myung arched his back just to keep your dick inside him so shamelessly made you lick your lips.
You spoke in a low voice,
“If this is the only way to defeat you, I might as well fuck you like this every day.”
Flop! Schlop!!
Your cock continued to abuse his prostate.
“Ye-yes! Every day! Ruin me every day!!”
Chung Myung screamed, throwing away his pride.
Fuck his pride.
If he could feel your dick like this every day–a pleasure he had never known before.
Then he might as well become your obedient cock sleeve…♡
Shlick! Fwop!
“Ooh~ more! More!”
Chung Myung’s whimpers grew louder every time your hips slammed into him, his ass turning red from the impact.
Everything around him was spinning. He's completely overstimulated.
Too rough for someone's first time.
He hadn’t known your dick would be your strongest weapon.
Schlop! Flop!
Spank!
“Eugh!”
A sharp moan tore from him at the sting on his rear.
Your fingers dug into his hips, your pace never slowing.
“Chung Myung-ah… you look so cute like this.”
“Fwu–! Ahhn!!”
He couldn’t even respond anymore, drool slipping from his lips onto the ground.
It was overstimulating.
Chung Myung had never imagined his first time could feel this good.
He’d have to thank Tang Bo later for the aphrodisiac he had given him.
The drug he drank was so potent it seemed to have affected you as well–
The way your hips wouldn’t stop, as if they had a mind of their own.
Or the way Chung Myung’s hips pushed back just as desperately.
“Moreee! Fuck me harder!”
Chung Myung had never felt this kind of bliss just from fucking his sajil.
“So good! More!”
His eyes rolled back as he moaned and whimpered, sounding nothing like himself, more like someone completely lost to pleasure.
Everything felt mind numbing.
His sajil’s cock was so much thicker than the makeshift one he had carved out of wood with his sword.
The toy he used to ride shamelessly, imagining this very moment–imagining you wrecking him.
And now, those fantasies had finally come true.
Your cock felt far better than the toy he had used every day.
Who knew a cock this big even existed?
So thick it almost felt like a blade splitting him open from the inside, and yet.
It felt so damn good…♡
You bit your lip hard as your orgasm drew closer.
It was too pleasurable –Chung Myung ass feels perfect for your cock.
His tightness felt like it was trying to milk your balls dry.
“I’m close, sahyung”
You let out soft moans as your hips moved faster and rougher.
Chung Myung felt a surge of happiness.
He was close too.
Would it feel even better if you both came together?
It had to, right?
He was about to find out.
With your one final thrust.
“Cumming!”
You groaned, grabbing his hair and pulling his body back, forcing him deeper onto you.
“Eugh! Y/N!!”
Chung Myung’s body trembled as pleasure crashed over him. His cock spurted semen, so messy, even staining his upper robes.
Climaxing together felt different. Stronger, more overwhelming. It felt like Chung Myung was ascending to another realm.
Warm semen flooding inside him made you feel revitalized. You could feel your cultivation growing stronger.
His body trembled intensely from the ecstasy–from the way you had filled him so completely.
Eventually, his strength gave out, and his body slumped to the ground.
“Huff… huff…”
You caught your breath and looked down at the mess you had made.
It was a filthy sight–Chung Myung’s hole still twitching, with traces of your release slowly leaking out.
You heard him whisper weakly,
“Th-thank you… for cumming inside me…♡”
Your lips curled into a dark grin.
“You’re welcome, sahyung♡”
--------------------
“So, how was it?”
Tang Bo asked, passing a bottle of alcohol to the limping Chung Myung, who still managed to catch it with ease.
“It was good.”
“That’s it?”
A heavy sigh escaped Tang Bo. He had expected his hyung to give a detailed explanation of how potent his drug was.
But judging by the way Chung Myung looked–completely refreshed, almost as if he had ascended to another realm–it seemed his aphrodisiac had worked perfectly.
Chung Myung sneered when he noticed Tang Bo’s expression.
“No. I’m not telling you what happened in detail.”
Tang Bo pouted, crossing his arms as he turned on his heel.
Guess it was his turn to find out just how good you really felt.
Hi Sonna welcome to the fandom. It always nice to see more people get into rotbb especially when it’s mean more Cheong Myeong and reader fic 😂
I have this idea where the disciple gang ask the reader what does she love about Cheong Myeong? And she answers hard by going on a long rambling passionate rant over what she loves about Cheong Myeong😂 and she sincerely mean all of it and their reaction is pretty funny 🤣 like they are so shocked and caught off guard by her and her answers. Like she said she loves his personality and his training methods etc and she looks so proud when she done after they ask to stop. Oh and Cheong Myeong hear everything and is all flustered by it.
I kind got this idea from a chapter of For my derelict favorite. If you want to see the chapter. The series on webtoon and it chapter 34
Incase you’re wondering who are disciples gang are? I mean Yoo Iseol, Baek Cheon, Yun Jong , Jo Gul and maybe Tang Soso if you want to include her in as well.
Also ps are you a webtoon reader? or a novel reader?
There's No Actual Reason
[Chung Myung x Reader]
Summary: "...So, what do you love so much about him?"
WC: 3.2K
Trigger Warning(s): Alcohol use, physical force / restraining Chung Myung, intense emotional/romantic tension, light sexual/romantic innuendo, suggestive, reader is flirty hell yeah, panicky reaction, humor bordering on discomfort.
A/N: this time I tried the second person's perspective, it's fun to do but it kinda needs more focus on it andddd I hope you don't mind. I really enjoyed writing this chapter and so I hope you like it the same way I did! Also I'm both a webtoon and novel reader, I'm on ch.1385 if you're wondering!

“Eh…?”
You opened your eyes and lifted your head from where it had been resting on your hand, looking toward the person you thought had spoken to you—Jo Gul.
Yes, who was better at jumping between random topics than Jo Gul?
You glanced around. The other disciples were all looking at you with a mix of curiosity and expectation, which confirmed that the question had indeed been directed at you.
You scratched your head and raised an eyebrow in confusion.
“What’s this all of a sudden…?”
Jo Gul simply shrugged.
“Just curious.”
You exhaled softly through your nose as you leaned back against the rock behind you. This was supposed to be a drinking session to unwind, after all. They’d managed to sneak a few bottles of alcohol and climb up the mountain in secret—though Hyun Young probably wouldn’t have minded anyway since he knows Chung Myung will come too.
You scratched your head again and looked up at the sky as if trying to organize your thoughts.
“What I like about that man? What kind of question is that?”
Luckily, Chung Myung hadn’t shown up yet—which was strange since he usually came running whenever alcohol was involved. But it seemed the Sect Leader hadn’t let him leave yet.
“Honestly, I think I would’ve asked that if Gul-ah hadn’t.”
“Is it really that strange?”
“It’d be stranger if it were't strange.”
You looked in surprise at Baek Cheon, who spoke his thoughts, and at the other disciples who nodded in agreement. But honestly, you should have expected that. Looking at it from another angle—who would really love that violent bastard in that way you do?
You brought the cup to your lips and threw your head back, downing the strong liquor all at once. The burning sensation in your throat had become a familiar thing over the past few years.
You let out a dramatic sigh and slammed the cup down onto the ground.
“Argh! Obviously, that’s not a question I can answer! If there’s some specific reason why you love someone, how can you call that real love!?”
You clenched your fists with intense passion, and the disciples leaned back in their spots with slightly twisted expressions. It seemed like they found what you said completely unrealistic—which, honestly, wasn’t wrong.
Seeing their faces, you fought to hold back your laughter. They sighed in resignation at your amused expression, but you weren’t about to let it go that easily.
“Still… well, he’s got beautiful eyes, you know. Undeniable.”
Yoon Jong spat out his drink and choked. Jo Gul smacked his back, but he just looked even more shocked by what you’d said. And that wasn’t even the end of it.
“Ah~ have you seen that lovely pink shade like plum blossoms? Pink wasn’t really special to me before, but for some reason, it’s incredibly charming when in his eyes!”
You laughed as if you were daydreaming about his eyes at that very moment. For some reason, Baek Cheon felt a churn in his stomach. He looked at the other disciples, and they wore similar expressions, confirming it wasn’t just him.
He looked at you, as if he was about to say something, but you didn’t notice and kept going.
“And the way he trains—”
Yoo Iseol covered her mouth in rare shock, and Tang Soso looked like she was about to pull her hair out by now.
“Sajo, no—!”
“It’s so hard, and every time I think I’m going to die, but I don’t, which is kind of unfortunate because I'll have to do it again... But think about it! He could just focus on himself, but he wants you to get stronger! Because he doesn’t want you to die! Because he wants you to live long and for him to spend nore time with you! Isn’t that so incredibly sweet? Oh, my poor little heart!”
“Samae, I don’t think it’s quite like that—”
Yoon Jong shut his mouth immediately and without hesitation when you shot him a glare. Yoon Jong shouldn’t have been scared of something like that since he was used to facing the devil named Chung Myung, but the sharp shift in your tone and presence from deep admiration to threatening intent was overwhelming.
“Say that again, Sahyung, I dare you.”
“Sorry—”
“So as I was saying…”
You went back to praising him as if nothing had happened, at an impressive speed. Whether or not you were even breathing between words was up for debate. It seemed like you’d just been waiting for someone to ask you that question.
“His personality is so complicated. Just when I think I really know him, I realize what I knew was just a drop in the ocean! I always have to stay on my toes because I don’t know what he’ll pull next—”
“Isn’t that the opposite of stability?”
“Yes! It’s like heaven for a woman like me since I get bored most of the time. And he’s so honest, he always says what you really need to hear! Isn’t that right, Sasuk?”
You looked at the man with a meaningful smile. Baek Cheon coughed awkwardly and looked away. That wasn’t a memory he was eager to revisit.
“He’s loud, but I love people with strong passion, even if he acts angry most of the time. So what? It’s not like there’s anyone perfect in the world. Honestly, I hate people who pretend to be perfect! It’s lying and hypocrisy! And they’re boring!”
The disciples exchanged nervous glances, while Hye Yeon, who had been listening silently, turned his gaze up to the dark sky as if he was having a moment of enlightenment. Or frankly... it was more like an existential crisis.
“Everyone knows he loves money, but has he ever been stingy about spending for the sect’s sake? It’s much harder to give something up when it’s something you truly want. A man who always puts others before himself and shields them when there’s danger. It’s hard to get close to him, but every moment of that process and everything after is worth it. He doesn’t care about women, but he never looks down on them either.”
You looked at Yu Iseol and Tang Soso for a moment. There was a flicker of realization in Tang Soso’s jade-green eyes. Yu Iseol gave a small nod of agreement, her expression as calm as ever.
You smiled.
“And he’s so beautiful!”
Your excitement returned with full force after having softened for a brief moment, and the disciples’ eyes twitched as if they were about to enter a meditative trance if not for your interruption.
“His black hair, those random little knots in it—every time I notice them, I get the urge to run my fingers through and untangle them myself while admiring the pearly shine on each strand!”
“Samae, stop—”
“Don’t interrupt me, Sahyung! You can’t ask someone a question and then not let them answer it when it doesn't suit you!”
You clenched your fist threateningly, making Jo Gul shrink his neck in fear. He couldn’t even finish his sentence.
“Speaking of the question! What kind of clever question was that, huh?! Sahyung should already know how amazing Chung Myung is! How could anyone not want to love and protect someone that precious?!”
How many people could actually listen to someone gush about Chung Myung without getting indigestion? Even after hearing all those good things about him, loving that man still seemed like an impossible task. Somehow, you were probably the only woman on earth who could manage it.
The disciples listened tensely, sweat beading on their faces as you rambled on about everything you loved about Chung Myung.
Yu Iseol averted her gaze for once, and Tang Soso looked around like she wasn’t sure what to say. Jo Gul fiddled awkwardly with the hem of his uniform, Yoon Jong looked up at the stars, and Hye Yeon quietly chanted a Buddhist prayer.
Baek Cheon massaged his temples like he was trying to get rid of a headache because... what had he just seen?
It was dark, but as a martial artist, there was no way he wouldn’t notice. Between the densely grown trees behind the rock you were leaning against...
Thanks to a light breeze just a moment ago, Baek Cheon saw something flutter quietly behind a nearby tree trunk.
There was no way Baek Cheon wouldn’t recognize that green hair tie and ponytail. It looked like the other disciples had seen it too. How long had he been there? How much had he heard?
Only you hadn’t noticed it, since you were sitting with your back to the forest and were too busy talking.
“So…”
You paused for a moment when Tang Soso caught your attention. She’d succeeded in stopping you at that point.
“Sajo, why don’t you tell Chung Myung Sahyung that?”
The disciples all nodded in unison, even though they knew it was pointless since the man already knew by now. But at least they could hear the reason from you directly and maybe get you to quiet down for a bit.
“…”
You looked at them in silence, pressing your lips together for the first time in several minutes, your gaze dropping down as you poured yourself another cup of alcohol.
Well, no one had hoped to silence you like that. Tang Soso waved her hands quickly, her tone apologetic.
“Sajo, you don’t have to say anything you don’t want to! Okay—?”
“…He doesn’t want that.”
Tang Soso fell silent when you answered calmly. It wasn’t a quiet filled with heartbreak or sadness or anything like that. It was simply serious.
“I don’t think he wants to hear any of this. And I cherish what we already have. I don’t have the strength to ruin everything over some trivial feelings.”
“…”
“He doesn’t need me in that way. He needs a friend to support him. Forcing something onto someone under the excuse of love is a despicable thing to do. How could I do this to him knowing that?”
You let out a sigh at the end, and a small smile found its way to your lips. Strangely, you didn’t seem bothered by it at all, your friendship with him was enough to you even when you in fact wanted more.
Unlike you, the other disciples had slightly wrinkled faces, as if they’d taken it upon themselves to feel frustrated on your behalf.
That was kind of funny, so you decided to tease them.
“What do you think, Sasuk~? Isn’t this sajil just so mature? Why not praise me instead of acting like a drama queen?”
“I’m not acting like a drama queen!”
Baek Cheon exhaled in frustration, his eyes watching your amused expression before glancing off toward the trees behind you.
He caught sight of a shadow slipping away. If he hadn’t known he was there, he wouldn’t have noticed his ghostly movement.
He pinched the bridge of his nose in exhaustion. But honestly, he was far too curious about what would happen tomorrow. He even thought he wouldn’t be able to sleep from all the overthinking.
—
Baek Cheon almost rubbed his eyes.
That was just how unbelievably absurd the scene in front of him was. But he held himself back; his dignity as the dae Sahyung of Baek line wouldn’t allow him to rub his eyes like that.
Except… there wasn’t much dignity left to protect when his jaw practically hit the floor. Luckily, no one commented on it—the younger disciples didn’t dare, the Five Swords and Hye Yeon, who were usually the type to make fun of him, weren’t in any better shape.
You weren’t doing anything unusual.
When everyone woke up in the morning, they started training as usual, and you were no exception. None of the six missed the fact that Chung Myung hadn’t glanced your way even once, but it wasn’t especially noteworthy.
But now, when the disciples had gathered in the dining hall for lunch. When you went to sit in your usual spot at the table with Tang Soso, Yoon Jong, Jo Gul, Hye Yeon and of course… Chung Myung.
While it wasn’t the first time, today felt a little different. The only empty seat was the one next to Chung Myung. Had Tang Soso and the other three conspired for that? What evil people.
No… that wasn’t the real problem.
Chung Myung still hadn’t looked at you, and yet, Baek Cheon almost spat out his food when he saw that faint red tint creeping up the back of Chung Myung’s neck like ink spreading across a surface.
And had he been chewing that bite for a whole minute now? Why wasn’t he eating with the usual ferocity like just a moment ago?
‘What am I even seeing right now?’
Baek Cheon really didn’t want to believe this…
„…His eyes are so beautiful…!“
Chung Myung accidentally swallowed his bite wrong when he’d just been trying to swallow his saliva absentmindedly.
He used to look at you without thinking, completely natural—and hadn’t noticed anything. But was that what you’d been thinking every time?
Of course. Damn these unnecessary emotions. It wasn’t like he had time for things like that… And yet, why couldn’t he calm down even knowing you weren’t planning to bring it up and talk about it, that you just wanted to keep things the way they were between you two?
Wasn’t that exactly what he’d wanted to hear at that moment? It was supposed to reassure him, knowing he could go about his days as usual without worrying about messy complications.
Anyway… what was wrong with you? Was there something off in your head to fall for someone like him? Every woman in the world ran from him as soon as they realized what kind of dirty personality he had, so how could you do something like this?
“Chung Myung-ah?”
God… Somehow, he managed not to flinch or jump up and run away. He didn’t want to turn toward you. He didn’t want to look at you.
“You’ve been acting weird for a while. Why aren’t you eating?”
Your tone was so casually curious. Damn it. Why did you have to make him suffer like this while you were all calm?
The four sitting with them went silent as soon as they heard that, and he could feel their eyes drilling into his head. These bastards…
“I-I’m fine.”
He forced himself to answer. And somehow, it would’ve been better if he hadn’t. His voice was drowned out by the chatter of the other disciples in the hall, and it became obvious just how uncharacteristically low his tone was.
Your eyes twitched when you noticed it.
“Heh, let me see your face.”
Chung Myung flinched when he felt your hand grab his forearm. What a solid grip you’d trained up! …He'd be proud of his hard work in any other occasion but could you please take it off him now?
“…Stop it, what are you doing?!”
“Let me see your pretty face, you bastard! Why are you depriving me of that view?!”
Normally, yeah… it sounded like you were just joking around to mess with him… But this time, it felt different. Those words weren’t just meaningless teasing to him anymore like before.
Of course, if Chung Myung weren’t in the worst mental state right now, you wouldn’t have been able to get away with it.
Miraculously—and this was unprecedented—you managed to push Chung Myung to the ground. He couldn’t miss the fact that you’d placed your hand on the back of his head to keep it from hitting the floor. That moment only lasted a second before you pinned his arms beside his head.
Chung Myung was completely caught off guard.
It was hard to breathe. He was afraid to move even a little and accidentally get his sides to come on contact with your legs that were settled firmly on either side of his waist. You narrowed your eyes in suspicion, scrutinizing his face carefully.
“Chung Myung…”
Chung Myung felt his heart pounding like drums when you looked at him with that mischievous smile.
“If this were like usual, my head would’ve hit the ceiling by now. You didn’t even come to drink with us last night, you bastard who can’t act.”
You laughed. Chung Myung thought he was hallucinating when you leaned in closer. Your face was only inches away, and the distance kept shrinking until he felt dizzy.
You pressed your forehead against his. It was just a few brief moments, but in his mind, it stretched on endlessly.
Your eyes were fixed on his, and for some reason, he felt like they were consuming him. It felt like he was trapped in a narrow space where there wasn’t enough air.
His jaw trembled when he felt your faint breath hitting his lips, and the tip of your nose brushed his skin, sending a shiver down his spine.
“Just as I thought.”
Chung Myung felt like he's going to panic, what the fuck did you find out—
You lifted your head and grabbed it dramatically as you shouted.
“Oh my God! Chung Myung is sick!! Soso-ya!”
The hall, which had been completely silent for the past 35.21 seconds, exploded into noise the moment your words echoed.
“Chung Myung is sick?!!!”
“What?! Do imoogis even get sick?!??”
“I lived to see this day! Mom!!”
Tang Soso rushed over with a confused expression, but her face went blank when she saw Chung Myung.
‘Did his skin really change color? Why is he so red?’
Chung Myung stared up at the ceiling like a dead fish. His life was flashing before his eyes.
“Ah… What is this? What a beautiful river…”
“Ahhh!!! Chung Myung-ah!! Don’t die, we still need you!!!”
You grabbed Chung Myung by the collar and shook him, but your actions only made the chaos worse.
~
You watched the door to the medical hall in silence. Chung Myung had been taken there, and Tang Soso had chased the disciples away, saying patients needed space to recover first and foremost.
Your foot tapped against the floor repeatedly, arms crossed over your chest, your mind somewhere else entirely…
“Samae…”
“Shh.”
You silenced Yoon Jong the moment he called for you. Your mind was too busy thinking about things that were… very important.
Yes, important things… The image of Chung Myung pinned under you, his confused and red face for reasons you didn’t quite understand, a thin layer of sweat sliding down his trembling skin… It was engraved on the walls of your mind, and you’d make sure to remember it forever.
Chung Myung, the strongest man in the world, for some reason had looked weak beneath you. Yes, that was an extremely important that might not ever happen again.
“No, Samae…”
“Ugh, what?”
You turned toward him with irritation, one eyebrow raised, but found Yoon Jong handing you a handkerchief with a grimacing face.
“Your nose is bleeding.”
“Uh… Oh.”
After a moment of staring, you took the handkerchief with a slightly awkward nod. You wiped your nose and chin and glanced back toward the medical hall.
‘But how did he fall in the first place?’
You thought silently, you knew very well that Chung Myung was able to beat hundred men even when having a light fever, but he fell when you pushed him? Your eyes narrowing slightly in annoyance like there was something you couldn’t quite put your finger on.
But a faint smile formed quietly under the handkerchief covering your mouth. There was something interesting here—and you were determined to find out exactly what it was.

A lil addition~
• after that incident, they called you "the only disciple that can push CM down". CM snapped when he found out.
• BC always thought that CM had something weird for you but he wasn't sure what it was. CM himself didn't even notice it.
• you teased CM for a week after that, sometimes to the point where he ended up beating you but it was worth it.
• CM became so frustrated once and ended up kissing you to shut you tf up. Of course he was drunk. (Cringe ik)
Your life is upturned when a magical, sword wielding warrior crash lands in your apartment. Cue the absolute pandemonium.

Chapter 2: Mr. Sandman, Bring Me a Nightmare
You are so not okay right now. Definitely traumatized. Very possibly on the brink of a mental breakdown.
You quicken your steps, the cold wind biting at your bare arms as you charge down the street. Where are you headed? You have no idea. The only thing on your mind at the time had been a continuous loop of RUN AWAY—RUN AWAY—RUN AWAY—
And so here you are. Cold, alone and running the fuck away.
You probably look like a crazy person right now: hair in a frazzled mess, torn clothes and dried blood stains all over you. You're not blind—you can see the alarmed stares you're attracting. The sidewalk for once is miraculously clear in front of you, parted like the Red Sea.
Well, whatever. You're not feeling particularly chatty right now either.
The world feels smaller, almost compressed. Like you're walking down a dark, narrow tunnel, and it's squeezing your lungs tighter and tighter. Your vision is starting to blur at the edges, shapes and colors melding together and swirling like paint.
Suddenly everything is too loud, blaring like alarms in your ears. The cars rushing by, the whistling wind, the chatter of pedestrians—it's unbearable. You stumble to the nearest door you can find, pushing it open and nearly falling through the entrance.
The chatter inside immediately quiets down.
You're in what looks to be a café. There are cute fairy lights hanging from the ceiling and a sign on the wall that reads Life Happens, Coffee Helps. A bell jingles innocently above you.
You stagger to the counter, skipping the line. Nobody really says anything to stop you. The barista takes one look at you and pales.
"Police," you gasp, trying to catch your breath. "Somebody, call the police."
****
Forty minutes later, you're wrapped in one of those large foil blankets like an aluminum burrito. Outside of your apartment complex, police swarm the area like ants.
After getting the details from you, they'd immediately rushed here to detain the offender. You may not be his only victim, after all. At least they let you sit a very generous distance away (AKA, across the street). You don't think your mental state could have handled seeing that psycho again.
"Ma'am," the officer calls you, making you flinch so hard you nearly tear your blanket. Your paranoia is at an all time high right now, worse than that time you pulled two all-nighters in a row with only red bull and a bag of Doritos to sustain yourself.
He sighs, shaking his head, and—well, there goes any peace of mind you might have had left. "He's gone, but we took blood samples and our detectives are currently observing the crime scene. It should be cleared for reentry soon enough."
"So—so what, I'm just supposed to go back to what I was doing?" Your voice trembles. How can you possibly function like this?
The officer presses his lips together. "Do you have anywhere else to stay tonight? A friend's or family's place? Maybe a hotel?"
You want to laugh in his face, or maybe cry. Your nearest family is a state away. The closest thing you have to a friend here is your coworker, who you're pretty sure lives with an abusive husband. And a hotel? Fucking hell, you can barely afford groceries.
The officer must see the desperation on your face because his expression softens a little. "Listen, there's a shop not too far from here, about two blocks down the hill. They have options for self defense. Just be responsible with it, and call us if anything happens."
You bite your lip, nodding tiredly. "Yeah, okay."
"Our department will continue to conduct a manhunt in the area based off of the description you gave us. I suggest you purchase a new mobile device so that we can contact you." He gives you one last nod before walking away.
You close your eyes, dropping your head in your hands. Breathing deeply, you let out a long, shuddering sigh.
"Well," you mutter. "Fuck."
****
You get no sleep that night.
Or the night after, really. On the third night, you finally collapse from utter exhaustion, but you're restlessly tossing and turning until the sun peaks treacherously through your curtains.
After an entire week of feeling half-alive, you've finally fucking had it. You come back to your apartment with a taser, pepper spray, a baseball bat and a pending background check for a firearm. You sleep with the taser next to you, and it's the first time all week that you're able to get in a blessed, uninterrupted eight hours.
After two weeks, your routine starts to reestablish itself. You buy yourself a cheap phone, get back into the flow of work, and DIY some repairs in your apartment with dollar store solutions and pure spite. Eventually, your tension releases. You stop looking over your shoulder every five minutes. You lay off the frantic internet searches.
And finally, finally, after two and a half painful weeks, you have some semblance of peace back in your life.
Which of course, predictably, is when everything goes to shit.
****
It's three in the morning.
The refrigerator hums. Your washing machine hiccups—pauses—and resumes washing. You're fast asleep, swaddled in your comforter like it could ward off evil spirits.
Or, well, you were fast asleep.
Now you're wide awake, eyes snapping open to the sound of your floorboards creaking. Your heart stops. You hold your breath.
You could be imagining it. You hope you're imagining it. Your building is old. Old buildings make weird noises, right? Or maybe it's just your neighbors having…fun. Wouldn't be the first time.
Creaaaak.
Panic starts to rise in your chest. Okay, that was definitely closer. Your trembling hand reaches slowly for your taser.
You've practiced for this. Watched like, a gazillion self-defense videos. Still, you don't feel anywhere near ready to face this yet.
The steps—undeniably human steps now—start walking towards your bedroom. Sweat beads at your forehead. You clutch the taser in a white-knuckled grip.
The bedroom door creaks open.
You nearly piss yourself.
Oh god, it's him. It's that fucking psycho from earlier. Standing in the shadows like the ghost of Christmas Future.
The moonlight peaks through your curtains, barely illuminating his figure. He's wearing the same ridiculous pink-and-white outfit as before, the one that looks like it was plucked straight from a martial arts movie set. It's even more tattered now—like he'd been dragged backwards through a forest, dunked in a lake, and then...glitter-bombed? His hair's a ghastly mess, sticking out in every direction, and his eyes—
His eyes dart to you. They look wild. Animalistic.
You've never not wanted to be somewhere more in your entire life.
He knows you're awake. There's no way he doesn't, you're rigid as a board. Taking a shaky breath, you try to steel yourself. "Don't come any—!"
In a flash, he's across the room, and your eyes blow wide open.
"...closer," you choke out.
Did he—did he just fucking teleport?
Something in your sanity snaps. Maybe it's the stress, or the compounded sleep deprivation, or the fact that Janine from work insulted your earrings today.
You growl, kicking up the blanket to obscure his vision. Then, you lunge with bared teeth, taser wielded like a weapon of mass destruction.
When the blanket drops, there's just air.
What the?
A hand grips the back of your shirt, yanking you back. You yelp, staring up at the glowing pink eyes currently narrowed at you. He looks murderous, but also slightly disappointed—like he couldn't believe you were this pathetic.
Great, now you're terrified and strangely offended.
"W-what the hell do you want from me?" You stammer, voice trembling.
You don't try to attack again. You're hopelessly outmatched. In fact, he could probably kill you before you even manage to fully process it. The feeling of having your life in his hands is gut-wrenchingly disturbing.
He looks unsure for a moment, throwing you off guard. Then he glares at you like you were the one intruding in his house.
You feel like you're about to pass out from the nerves.
He clenches his jaw, and then he speaks.
"Who..." he struggles, voice thick with a heavy accent. "Who...you?"
The way chung myeong would literally nag you while taking care of you if you caught a cold drives me CRAZYYY
Like hello? He would defo be like "Stupid, I told you not to go out in the rain, can't you get that through your thick head?" While gently draping a warm blanket on your body.
BIGGEST TSUNDERE FR AND BEST PART IS HE WOULD NOT LET YOU SLACK OFF DURING TRAINING YET WOULD ALWAYS CHECK UP ON YOU AFTERWARDS PRETENDING TO NOT CARE.

ROTBB! Men x Pregnant! Reader (Headcanons)
Chung Myung
- This man is the Plum Blossom Sword Saint! He wakes up really early every day to go train but now he's waking up even earlier (is that even possible?) !
- You wake up pretty late today and get hungry. It's past breakfast time and you don't wanna disturb your husband so you go to find food yourself.
- You're very smart ofcourse, instead of going to the kitchen you decide to hear down the mountain! A steep mountain! Pregnant! That's very smart of you, commendable even.
- He's come back from training and looks for you. Probably bathing he thinks when he can't find you. For now. Then hours pass by ad you're still not here.
- He's worried. Really worried. Did you seriously just disappear like that? Where even are you? He can't track you anywhere within the sect grounds and it's driving him crazy.
- Will dispatch every single mount hua disciple to look for you, and if they don't find you before sundown... Well let's just say they're gonna have a tough time.
- Baek Sang finds you first and he's screaming at you. Then he realises. Oh god, he screamed at YOU! Chung Myung's wife?? He's as good as dead.
- Chung Myung is steaming until he finally sees you again. Very angry and agitated! He's an old man you're gonna give him a heart attack *sigh*
- "Back in my days, wives didn't just disappear randomly!"
Baek Cheon
- He's awake and out training the other disciples when you wake up. You're hungry and definitely don't want to interrupt their practice so you decide you'll go get food yourself.
- It's past breakfast time so there's probably no food in the kitchen at the moment, so you decide to go down the mountain and get some yourself!
- You're out having fun when Baek Cheon returns to your shared room. He doesn't find you anywhere and after a while starts getting stressed.
- Asks the others if they've seen you anywhere and ofcourse, no one has, not even Cheong myeong, much to his surprise and agitation
- Now he's really worried. Looks all over the sect grounds and as time flies by he's getting more agitated. Are you hurt? Did you fall somewhere? Have you gone away? Is he just being paranoid?
- By late afternoon you're back in the sect and he runs to you as soon as be sees you. I mean he's a caring guy, he needs to know if you were alright especially since your pregnant
- Asks you tons of questions about where you were and makes you promise never to go out like that again!
Lee Songbaek
- He wakes up earlier that you since he needs to train the younger disciples as well as continue his own training
- When you woke up it was already late and although you expected him to be in the room at this hour, he wasn't
- You got cravings for something different than what you usually had in your meals and thus decided to go out and eat something delicious
- You walked out of the sect grounds and into the huge city of Xi'an, forgetting to write a note for him letting him know that you would go out
- He comes back a little before lunch, with a few of your favourite snacks as a sorry for not being able to share breakfast with you but when he doesn't find you in the room he decides to ask the other trainees if they had seen you. When all of them deny he gets worried and starts looking around the whole sect
- The sect is huge and you usually didn't venture too far from your room so with his wits he gathers that you probably went out of the sect
- As the second oldest baek disciple, he orders the rest of the disciples to go look for you outside the sect
- Hi Gwak is the first one to find you as he sees you stuffing different kinds of dumplings into your mouth, much to your embarrassment
- When Songbaek finally sees you he starts asking tons of questions to you and why you didn't let him know you were going out of the sect and how it made him worried
- Is a bit angry at you for not letting him know before but soon forgives you, you're his dearest wife afterall ;3
- Makes sure to keep food for you before he heads out to long training session from the next time
Jin Geumryong
- He's awake way before you ever had even before you were pregnant
- He rarely even spends time with you, some rare times during lunch and usually only during dinner and sleeping. So when you wake up in the morning, he's obviously not there.
- You're hungry and the kitchen is too far off for you to bother going there and you decide that if you have to eat something, you'd rather eat outside
- Even during lunch time he doesn't notice you, or rather your absence, only thinking about how his sword arc was too low, which left an opening to the head and shoulders. Only during evening when a samae asks him where you were does he notice your absence
- He screams at the other disciples for not paying attention to where you were going during his absence because he hates taking responsibility for his faults
- He thinks that you're angry at him for not paying attention to you and that you decided to go out somewhere on your own
- You also don't notice the time flying by as you eat and shop for clothes around Xi'an, enjoyinh the rich flavours and the new fashionable clothes which you hadn't had time to look at or shop for since you got pregnant
- Finally you see that it's way past the time you were supposed to return to the sect to when you see most of the shops closing for the day
- As you rush in to the sect past dinner time, the disciples are frantically searching for you, which makes sneaking into the room harder, however you do manage to finally do it
- He's waiting in the room and is pretty angry at you for going away for so long without informing anyone
- Secretly still scared that you are mad at him and tries to spend more time with you from the next day, even taking a day off to go out on a proper date in a long time.
How do you think Cheongmyeong would be when jealous someone has his crush/so's attention?
You're laughing.
You're neglecting your training and laughing with your sect brothers and sisters who are definitely enjoying the rare attention from you. After disappearing for training, missions, and literally every work in this world, you finally have some free time.
So, of course you'd spend it with your fellow disciples, catching up with each other and learning of their daily experiences that never changed since you left. Nevertheless, you drank up everything they said with a smile, enjoying their company that you had sorely missed.
Cheongmyeong understands. You have other people around you too. You've lost so many, so you're cherishing the ones you have left. It's not like you're his possession to be kept in a dark cave somewhere forever with only him as your company; that would be cruel to a free soul like you. Plus, he much rather see you smile with the people you love.
Even so, he's a little impatient. Can you blame him, though? He wants to pretend to drag you to train and spend time with you too. He hasn't seen you for such a long time, so it's obvious he misses you too. (Though he denies it every time -- the divine dragon still has his pride, you know.)
Thus, when he returns from training, hoping to take his mind off of it, he can't help the frown that appears when he sees you talking to someone else again. He almost couldn't help the disbelief on his face when he sees you praise them so nicely for their accomplishments; accomplishments that only happened because he trained them. Plus, he remembered that disciple's arms were one inch too low during sword swinging training, so do they really deserve your praise?
He calls out your name, and as always, you turn around with that bright look in your eye. Sure, you look at everyone the same way, but he swears you look much more nicer when it's directed at him. Seeing Cheongmyeong, the other disciple knew it was time for them to go, excusing themselves from your conversation.
Good. At least they know when to leave.
He walks over to you, and you invite him to take a seat next to you. He's a bit childish at first, criticizing that disciple for his neglectance during training, but soon softens up after basking in your presence long enough.
Of course, you know what to do, too.
Giving him a cup of tea, you give him a pat on his head, wiping the sweat off his forehead with a clean handkerchief; thanking him for his efforts and praising him. He enjoys the compliments, nodding smugly as he pretends to brush it off, but the cheeky smile on his face betrays his futile attempts of humility.
He stays a little longer next to you, warding off any other disciples who wished to talk to you, listening to you talk about your day and experiences. It's his turn now, the others can wait. After all, he thinks he deserves to spend some time with you too, especially since he has been so patient.
