1)Seven years ago on this exact evening I was at the premiere of a film I’d been dreaming of for almost 20 years. 2)We walked the red carpet outside the Ziegfeld theater, the last of the huge, single screen movie houses in New York. A version of The Golem. 4)The books were in stores and doing very well. 5)Soon the fans started getting into the Guardians. 6) The cosplayers believed so hard. 7)There were parades. 8) Bronze statues of the Guardians were erected. 9) It’s been seven years but the Guardians Oath still matters “We will watch over the children of earth.
