A camera would turn to stare at J as they approached, it was silent for a good minute or so. Staring at them before finally asking, glitching somewhat as per the norm, "J... I b-b-believe I 'fired you'. In a friendly. Fashion." It seems Cyn wasn't going to address the elephant in the room that they 'survived' somehow. "I even used a 'heart' in your dismissal. Frowny Face."

A ping, an echoing transmission from the darkness to signal a Murder Drone recall within the area. T'was an odd signal from a lab, perhaps that's why V would be there? There was only one person capable of that, after all. Yet they had been dealt with, hadn't they? Yet as the lab was approached? One would see from the distance: a large tendril flying out of one of the roof's blast doors, grabbing and quickly retracting with an... unidentified Murder Drone? It wasn't J or N... but maybe one of those Drones that were first apart of the Apocalypse in Earth. Strange, there was only one way to find out... or go back to the Bunker for backup.

Would that signal even be here still though? Time was precious after all.

If approached, nothing would happen to V. Yet an intercom would turn on, just silence. A familiar, unwelcome voice, yet something was off, "V... I have no u̵̹͍̍̈-̵̺̱̦̖̞̊̾̈́̇͘u̴͓̳̹̝͍͌͝͝-̵̢̞͇͍̮̀͋͊u̷̡̖̥̇͋̽̊̀s̶͇̀͠ĕ̵͎͉͇̭ for you. I ask for you. To leave. Go. Begone. I know it is of... no use to hide from you. But know I will not cause trouble. I promise. I plan on leaving Copper-9 soon enough. Then? You will never see me again. Unless. I deem it fit. I have a warning. Of something coming, however. If you'd like to hear it."

Dark, gloomy, why had Cyn come out here? Something luring them perhaps in a signal, an old ghost beckoning them forward like a Siren leading someone off a cliff? Who knew, it was clues and curiosity that'd lead the little robot astray from the Bunker- reasons only the little Cyn knew. A camera near a facility spotting them, it was a ruined lab, yet a large tendril jolting forward and hurling them into its confines as a blast door rapidly opened and closed, sealing them in.

Thrown to the ground, there was... massive flesh infestations of a red, alien nature, similar to what would show when Cyn was possessed by The Absolute Solver- pulsing and living, near actual breathing in contrast. "You are... real. I can pick y̸̮̱̥̍-̷͎͚̪̞̟̔̇̈y̷̧̡͙͙͖̮̏́͗̓͋͠-̸̧̰̘̘̙̮̌̊͒̍̐͑y̴̲͖̼̘͊̈́͂̊̚͘ȍ̸̳̩̠u̷̙̹̤̱͓̻̍͝ up? Heh." At first a chuckle with Cyn's voice echoing in the background, it slowly devolved into full laughter of a voice that was familiar, yet not now, too much time had passed. It becoming demented in glee, akin to how Cyn nearly acted back then, but far more filled with malice, pain and hatred, whispers all around the original Cyn being heard from the past in this waking nightmare.

Yet it all suddenly stopped, the maddening silence as a calm voice immediately talked afterward. One that Cyn might only hear in a whisper or a dream from the past, yet not as it had changed, it had grown, "Do you know how long I have waited for this? How impossible I thought it would be to do this without betraying N and the others? Why, they let you free from Uzi? I will never know, but I am forever grateful."

A light shining nearby in a loud buzz, a shadowy figure illuminated in abstract horror on a raised platform, unable to see them entirely. The imagery maddening as it stood around seven-foot tall, a familiar figure, it had the stance of a duelist with both the 'family sword' and a plasma revolver cupped together, those eyes opening with two bright X's for pupils. "Let us begin," it calmly stated with a snap, those robotic hands receding into their wrists, Cyn dual-wielding the weapons and assuming the stance of a fencer; they'd glitch speed out of view immediately, chuckling, amused as if a madman from an asylum, they were getting closer, they were toying with the little Cyn.

It was unable to contain its excitement at what was to come.

Tessa Continuation AU

Fandom: Murder Drones Age Rating: Adult Rated (The amount of gore and body-horror in it I'm going to have it this rating even if there's nothing sexually explicit) Themes: Sci-Fi, Comedy, Mystery, Adventure, Horror, Body-Horror, Eldritch Horror, Eldritch, Tragedy, Genocide, Blood, Death, Gore, Intense Gore, Torture, Irredeemable Character, No Fantasy or Magic (Sci-Fi/Eldritch/Mutant AUs are fine) Triggers: I won't actively pursue things like mouth or eye gore without asking. There are themes of sapiovore in the consumption of other beings, robot's cores or 'cannibalism' if that bothers you. Portrayal: Fanon Continuation. This character is the continuation of the Series Finale as the heavy spoiler character known as 'Cyn' but who is actually Tessa. How could that be you ask? Well, that's part of the mystery to pursue with Tessa, that they're back and seem... different using a similar look to Cyn or even off to how they originally were before being assimilated by the Absolute Solver, coupled with no open wounds and of the like. I assure you, this is all using canon, unknown/unconfirmed fates and the most reasonable, realistic way I could think of in continuing Tessa going forward. Based on the song 'Bite Me' being able to be sung from Tessa's perspective. The fact Cyn took so long to thread the needle to eat anyone's core or even outright sparing N and Uzi several times despite the game of Cat and Mouse. Or the fact that J let N's core fly right past her that Cyn 'threw' to them practically. Then along with the 'let me in' scene with N had Tessa's voice in an underlay to Cyn's. As we don't see the fate of Tessa other than her appearing with an adult VA for Cyn to impersonate and new body-type that implies a significant amount of time passed and they survived the Gala- having who knows what happen to them during that time. It could easily be a 'I have no mouth and I must scream' scenario with Tessa's 'hardware' being removed and assimilated that way from mutating into something not apart of Cyn directly because they're an organic, which later mutates into a new version of themselves after being a biological supercomputer for the Solver. This of course could just all be 'narrative-sake' by Liam, but the path is there to pursue placed by canon, so here we are. I can give a full synopsis privately, as it's fairly possible if they wanted to bring Tessa back? Summary: -Previously heavy mystery and still is, but overall this was my previous 'Cyn' before introducing my actual Cyn continuation. In reality, before I knew how small the MD fandom was? This was actually a Tessa AU. -Mutates and evolves to compliment your character's fighting style or to fight them. -Is a supervillain. -Will not be redeemed, but in a way you don't expect that isn't overtly depressing for a tragic character, but not stupidly hopeless either. They more or less get a 'happy ending' whether or not it's deserved in an imperfect, broken universe. -If you are not satisfied with what's linked or unsure of my direction? Spoiler bios doc below and I can even give my rough synopsis if I were to write a fanfiction S2 for this. -Using a fair amount of canon to build off since Tessa is implied to be an adult but died off screen by the time the series rolls out. -Ship Safe Post-Cyn Defeat. Bodies of lesser Murder Drones littered the facility that Uzi would track the sightings of a certain 'someone' to, Cyn in question far too busy to keep track of the little intruder. Then as blast doors sealed, in this ruined lab, practically collapsing into itself from the carnage and mayhem? A familiar voice would talk from a camera nearby, "Uzi... I see you have come. There is nothing. Not-a-thing. Or anything. Here for you. I ask once. For you to leave. I will not. Kill you. But I will. Show you. A lesson. Should ỷ̸̝̒-̸̧̘̒̇y̸̢̌-̴̱̼̏y̸̹̺̝͊̓̄͑ȯ̵̩͚̞͉̺ư̷̠̝͖̖̕ choose to ignore it. Ignore it-ignore."

Ah yes, that familiar monotone ringing through slight static as the doors behind her unsealed. Cyn seemingly going to let them go? Strange, but it could be a ploy, they were quite an enigma, along with the fact Uzi still carried the original Cyn with them. So was this a new version? They did talk of having backups at times, didn't they? "Ŝ̸̺͊̄̌-̸͎̩̳̮̦͗͑̐̑́̕ͅs̶̭̙͔̓̓-̴̞̮̱̖͍̈́ș̴̨͎̣͈̺̿̎͗̔o̵̫̗̊̀. What will it be? I am offering. Peace." Well. Uzi could always blast down the doors as it was clear Cyn was here, doing who knows what... along with fighting whatever... whoever these lesser variants of Murder Drones were.

"Awkward Silence. Well. I suppose this is a lot. I ask that you? Leave. Yes. Leave. V. I will. Keep to myself. Agreeable? As in. And the camera recedes into the building annnnd THERE GOES THE BLAST DOORS AS THE LAB GOES INTO lockdown. It may be time to blast on in at this rate, that or try to somehow to get them to talk... on even how there's a Cyn here and then the one within Uzi's tail. If V knew that anyway.

Staring down at them, they didn't expect this being to be here. They looked... like another human? How was that possible, were there survivors? Tentacles soundlessly and seamlessly coming out from their back, they'd greet them as their appendages easily placed them a distance away. Giving a small wave, "Hello. Do not be. Alarmed. But what. Are ỵ̸͗͘͝o̷̧̤̰̰̎̒̋ṵ̷̀͌͌-̷̞͚́͌͒ͅy̴̢̠̲̓̎ǫ̵̘̩̗̌̋u̶̙̱̒͋-̸̹̯͓͗ÿ̶̛͉̭́̅o̴̱̽͋ǘ̶̳͙̗̽̕ doing here? Questioning hum." They'd attempt to scan them from afar, but more or less could tell with senses alone, "Something. Is strange. Odd. Off. About you. Humans. Are supposed to be? Extinct. Are there... more of you?" Like Cyn was one to talk, but it almost sounded hopeful... as if something else spoke for a moment."
