Venus was raised by Bishop ever since she was just a small baby due to Bishop's plan on wanting mutant experiments/soldiers of his own to defend the Earth. Venus was the 4th ever mutant he got his claws on.

Alopex who will be in this, was the first one he's managed to snatch.

Alopex and Venus always stuck together growing up in the lab. Like two peas in a pod.

One day they even escaped, along with some other captured mutants who called themselves the mutanimals.

They've been traveling around as a group, going from place to place to take shelter.

Venus would've been aboutttt 13 years old when this happened.

Alopex is about 2 years older than Venus btw.

Btw I'm planning to have Venus's old name as Bonnie but ended up changing it to Venus when she escaped the lab with the others

Remembering how you said that Arianna Grande's voice would fit Venus and now me listening to the song boyfriend makes me only think of your version of Venus and Leo. That's all I can think of when I listen to the song (and also other crap but whatever)

As for the song I do see it reflecting their relationship a bit Especially this part...

Vee's Personal issues is why she wouldn't be ready for commitment. Leo being a bit impatient and lacking some understanding with her situation would be the friction between them, preventing them from building a romantic relationship. Yet they Don't grow apart or move on from each other, almost like they're in limbo and until they surpass certain circumstances only then will they finally be happy together.

How did you come up with Venus? And what made you ship her with Leo?

hello! Well as we know Venus already existed from the next mutation series and from what I remember it appeared that they were going to pair her up with Leo before it got cancelled, I thought I was a cute ship but definitely had it's flaws 😅. I believe Venus could have been an interesting character with a lot of potential she was just brought in poorly with the show. I'm not a big fan with the idea of her being the lost 5th ninja turtle making her a possible sibling (me personally I like the story to originally focus with the 4 brothers) but that take got weird when Leo broke the news to her that they are not related only for him to try and make moves after.😵‍💫

When Rise came around I was curious to know if this was going to be the show to bring Venus back as the it progresses. Practicing drawing rise Leo one day I just threw in my first version of Venus next to him, I wasn't going for anything serious I was only playing around with some ideas. I ended up posting it and to my surprise it actually got a lot of positive attention along with their ship. So that motivated me to better her design and background while also considering the ship.

Since we know how Leo and Venus met, how did Mona meet Venus? And how did she also meet the turtles?

Hello! So sorry for the late response but if I remember correctly I mentioned that Mona had met the boys during one of her derby match. I don't want to give away to much but In short while looking for something to do in the yokai city the boys noticed a roller derby game taking place at an arena they came across, unfortunately non of them had the money to buy tickets Leo thought it would be a good idea to watch the match from the sky light windows on the roof but his eagerness to get a better view got the best of him causing Leo to fall through, dragging his brothers down as well, resulting in him crash landing right on top of Mona's team mates costing them the game. This infuriated Mona's team captain and challenged the boys to go against her remaining derby team.

As for how she met Venus, after the whole derby incident and the arena catching fire, Parting ways on a positive note with the turtles and breaking up with her derby team Mona was walking the streets when she was stopped by Venus who happen to catch a glimpse of what had happened during the fire and was very much blown away with Mona's bravery and heroic actions in saving Raph. Not interested in being praised tho, Mona tried ignoring venus, focusing more on finding a place to stay since she no longer has a home with the derby team. Venus being so intrigued by Mona and wanting to be friends she offered her a job in becoming her personal bodyguard where she'd get paid well and have a roof over her head. Showing interest but still skeptical Mona accepted the offer and followed a very excited Venus to her their home.
