“18. Jawline Kiss ”
embracing blythe from behind, violet yawned as he held his love tighter to stretch his arms. loosening his grip, he looked to him–
and he wondered…he wondered how he could ever have been gifted such a person in his lifetime– how out of all the people he’d could have met, and by the slimmest of chances, he was able to touch lives with someone so…
BEAUTIFUL.
from the way the haze of a cloudy sky reflected through the window and into his eyes, to the way he didn’t kill the bugs that always found themselves tagging along in the crumbs on violet’s shirt…and from his eyes that seemed so whole.…and his voice when he hummed and sang and thought violet wasn’t listening…
he would always be perfection to him.
nuzzling his nose into the safety of blythe’s neck, he found himself inhaling the scent of smoke and some-thing else unplaceable and indescribable, yet familiar–something that felt. like home.
on occasion, being a seemingly trivial two inches taller has it’s benefits.
with a touch gentle and soft , violet placed his lips on blythe’s jawline, just in between his chin. it had, initial-ly been an experiment–just for the sake of trying some-thing new–but once he repeated it, now closer to the spot under blythe’s ear, there was a…tenderness. in his kiss.
there was something in him that screamed, in a way no words could explain, his desire to make blythe aware of what he felt for him. he wanted him to know… he wanted.
with a final kiss underneath his companion’s ear, the delicacy with which it was enacted could have left even the weakest petals of a flower untorn. it was soSINCERE.
with a whisper of cool breath, violet made no sound but for one sole exception.
“blythe–…”
just like that time…even if it made no sense then, he wanted blythe to see who he saw; he wanted blythe to be happy– he wanted him the see the STARS. reflected in his eyes every time he looked in the mirror–he wanted to see the god in himself that was worth every good thing the world could offer him.
but nevertheless,
he was just being selfish.
just like always.
