Hay can do levi x reader pregnant headcanons please
Absolutely! I have to admit your username startled me for a moment, I thought my phone bugged up the notification 😅. Thanks for your request and I hope you enjoy!!
Levi and his Pregnant S/O Headcanons:
Trigger warning: Due to the nature of the request, topics related to pregnancy will be discussed. Please keep that in mind while you read.
Levi is keen on every detail about you. So expect him to bring up your new behaviors. Lies won't work when it comes to your morning sickness, mood changes and lack of complaining about your cramps. If you dont give him an answer, he will take you to Hanji or another medically trained person you're comfortable with.
When the news is dropped, he's shocked. Having little to no females in his life growing up, he isn't aware that those were pregnancy symptoms. He thought you were sick, poisoned even but this? His head is a mess of swirling thoughts.
Don't even blame yourself. It takes to people to make a baby so if your going to apologize, he will too. He doesn't want to get rid of the child but if that's what you want then he'll accept it. If you want to have this family with him, he'll be excited. Scared to but with your reassuring, he'll adjust just fine.
You're on maternity leave as soon as the news is dropped. He's not risking the safety of either of you two. As much as he wants to raise his family away from the war, this isn't possible so with Erwin's permission, you're allowed to stay within HQ. That way Levi is around more and there are more people watching out for you.
He will happily give up his rations when your get further along. He'll rub your body wherever you're aching. He'll take your snapping with a roll of his eyes and be ready to embrace you the second your tears fall. Your hormones dont scare him. His Ackerman genes no doubt make this pregnancy harder than a normal one and he hates that you have to go through that. He's hyper aware about your surrounds now. Sparayinbg Hanji with water when they keep trying to touch your stomach. One thing you're too amused to try and stop him from doing.
There are nights where you need to do the comforting. Growing up with no parental figures who stuck around, he struggles with knowing what to expect. But you point out how well he's handled the kids in his squad and pre mind him that he's not in this alone. The squad, Hanji, Erwin and you would all be there to help.
He talked to your stomach when your sleeping. Little kisses and his hand hand gently presses against it to feel the kicks of the life you both created. If you catch him doing this, he gets all flustered and has to stop. Such a pure little bean!
As the days get closer to your due date, he gets a little more anxious but his excitment overshadows that. He can't wait to see you holding your child. He can't wait for the first steps, all the memories he can't remember and he wants to give the baby the life he never did. No doubt he'll succeed in that. He's already gotten a little bassinet for in his office for when Mommy needs a break and so he can stay involved with his tiny human as much as possible.
Levi with his Long-Haired & Short-Haired S/O Headcanons:
Requested by the lovely @gcxrtghjjuhgfvbjjj
Long-Haired S/O
Alright, fight me on this but Levi's first act of physical affection, with you, would be brushing your hair with his fingers or a brush. This man loves the feeling of your hair and only found it out once he was scolding you about never having your long hair tied up.
Granted, he hardly knows anything about styling hair but soon picks up on it after you showed him or from him observing the others with longer hair. Eld may have caught on sooner than the others and taught Levi how to do a simple ponytail. Then Levi practiced on you as often as he could.
When you get pissed off, everyone knows to back off the moment they see you putting up your hair. But Levi is the only one who isn't phased by that. Instead, he's the one who moves your book from it's normal spot, leaves the blanket untucked at the foot of the bed, switches his pillow out for yours and all the other small things to just see you do this. It's one of his favourite things to watch.
Washing your hair takes forever because of the longer length and Levi takes full advantage of that. When you two bathe together, he's the one gently massaging shampoo and conditioner into your hair. Then rinsing it out and finishing the rest of your hair care routine. It's a stress of your shoulders and a stress relieve for him.
Short-Haired S/O
When you cut your hair, Levi always insists to do it for you. Regardless if you do it yourself or if you go somewhere to get it done, Levi likes to do it. And he knows exactly how to do it too. He does his own hair and just likes to do your too.
He loves when your hair starts getting a little too long because you keep batting your bangs out of your face. He finds it cute when you huffed and pout while glaring at them. He also loves to push the hair back behind your ear to keep it out of your face and seeing you blush in response.
With shorter hair, it takes a worry out of his mind since there's no risk of it affecting your ability to fight. You still get the dramatic view of your hair whipping against your face when you come zipping by to kill a Titan but now he can watch without his heart tightening when your hair gets too close to the monster's hand.
Your hair doesn't hide your face. And Levi will take full advantage of that to give you little compliments and remarks that make your cheeks go pink. He loves it and your little reactions are on full display for him.
Hello, I have another request. So cold Captain Levi X cadet reader (canon universe) in an enemies to lovers setting where the reader is secretly depressed and Levi starts to notice that she's not her usual self who likes to irritate him beyond reason as she's become very distant, snappy at her fellow comrades, is eating less and often sits up in the mess hall until 3am on the verge of crying etc. Then he decides to do something about it and get her back to her usual self. I'd preferably like this with a lot of hurt/comfort for the feels, as well as angst and fluff. Hope that's okay, thanks :)
Ok these kinda stories get me all the hecking time. I love emotionally destroying myself but there needs to be a happy ending, like this one. It's very angsty but fluffy at the end. So hopefully I got this right. I'm really sorry it took me so long for this but here you go. Thanks for your request and I hope you enjoy!
Trigger Warning: Due to the nature of the plot, there is mentions of self neglects, eating struggles, weight loss, emotional instability, depression. Please keep this in mind while you read. And if anyone is struggling, I'm here to listen 💜
Levi Ackerman x Reader: Dark Clouds
"CAPTAIN!!!!" Your voice boomed down the empty hallway. Levi was just about to enter his office when he heard you and already the headache set in. He shot you a very, VERY, annoyed look.
"If it's another one of your stupid questions, I'm slamming the door in your face" he growled through clenched teeth and you giggled shaking your head.
"No, not yet. I'm running errands for everyone since I'm going to Trost today and I came to see if you want anything" you calmed down a little, much to Levi's relief. However, you smirked internally as he gave you a list, completely overlooking the fact you said 'not yet'.
"Alright. I'll grab those. Oh and, another question. Do fish drink water?" Your giddiness came back as you watched the small bit of shock flash across Levi's face before his eyebrows furrowed in thought then narrowed down.
"Get out of my sight before I make you" he groaned and you laughed retreating down the hallway.
"Have fun thinking about that Captain!" You called, knowing very well that it would stay on his mind for the remainder of the day.
Your smile faded as you mounted your horse and left the courtyard of the Scouts headquarters. A dark cloud settled over you and your eyes drooped as the sads returned to you.
"Couldn't have let me enjoy that a little bit more, could you?" you muttered to yourself. There was no response, just like always. You weren't sure when this little black cloud grew over your head and decided to settle there but it doesn't seem like was going away any time soon. The only time the sad, empty feeling wasn't hanging around was when you were with your friends, both within the squad and Hanji. Levi made it go away completely while the others only numbed it. That's why you always were hanging around to bug him. Picking up on the light teasing that Hanji did as well as small things to get any sort of reaction out of him. If he didn't like, he would've told you right?
The errands gave you something to distract your mind and a few hours later, you returned to HQ with everything you set off to find. You had found everyone but Hanji and Levi. As you went to check Hanji's office, you could pick up on the low murmur of Levi's voice and the less enthusiastic voice of Hanji.
"I don't understand why she needs to behave so immature. If she has this much free time then why isn't she being put to work?" Levi grumbles. Hanji just shrugged and continued to listen to his rant.
"She's never bothering you or anyone else like that so why me? I'm busy enough dealing with Erwin, papers and my squad. I don't need her pestering as well" you felt the dark cloud begin to loom over you again.
"Maybe she's just trying to give you a break. Something else to focus on so you don't go mad with work. She cares about you Levi" Hanji defended but Levi clicked his tongue.
"As if. She's just another annoying idiot I have to put up with. I don't need her care nor do I enjoy it. It's better if she just stays away and let me be" his tone was sharp.
"She's not annoying. Sooner or later you'll figure that out too. You'll miss it once she's gone" Hanji sighed.
At this point, you wanted to return back into town and disappear. Your chest was tight and it took all your strength not to break down, right there, outside of Hanji's office. You took a moment to gather yourself before knocking three times and opening the door upon Hanji's call.
"There you are! Right on schedule, you got my goods? Oh please tell me you did!" They greeted you excitedly and you nodded, matching her energy despite your dark mood.
"Yup, everything is all right here!" You passed them a package wrapped in cloth and their eyes light up in excitment.
"You are an angel! Thank you my dear!" They smiled and you chuckled a little.
"And for my favourite Captain, I have your new ink and pens" you passed Levi another package wrapped in cloth and he took it with nothing more than a nod of thanks.
"Oh c'mon Levi, don't be such a grouch" Hanji scolded, their tone no longer playful and he rolled his eyes in response.
"He's in a mood. Again" they huffed and you shook your head.
"Isn't he always? I think he's just grouchy he ran out of ink last night " you teased and he shot you a glare that sent a pang of hurt to your chest. He's never been that agressive when your teasing...but then again you overheard their conversation earlier so maybe it was a good time to shut up.
"Anyways, I'm suppose to help with dinner tonight so...see you guys later" you smiled and left. Your behavior went unnoticed by both of them as Hanji was already excitedly unwrapping the package and Levi's mind wandered back to what Hanji had said.
"She's not annoying. Sooner or later you'll figure that out. You'll miss it once she's gone" What did they mean by that?
The moment you were out of the room, your body trembled with silent cries. You covered your mouth and bolted to your room, locking it and backing up to a wall. You slowly slide down it as you became numb to everything. There was no cold radiating off the wall, no rough feeling of the ground, no wetness from your tears as they trailed down your face. You felt nothing. Not after the harsh reality of hearing Levi saying, himself, that he couldn't stand you. It hurt and it hurt worse knowing that now, there was no way that you would be able to continue fighting against this dark feeling. How could you when the person you cared about the most, never expressed his displeasure to you? Instead he lead you on, let you develop this feeling of love for him and crushed it all when venting behind your back.
You felt like you were drowning. There was nothing left for you to cling to, to keep yourself from being pulled into the cold darkness lurking around you. Your sobs remained silent so no one could hear you cries for help. You wanted to go back in time, and just interrupt their conversation before Levi told the truth. Just let you live a lie for just a bit longer. To be happy for just a moment longer. But no, the world was against you and you felt the cold darkness pull you down. You felt everything slip away as your mind turned on 'autopilot'. You were needed in the kitchen in twenty minutes so you quickly freshened up and went to help. The main cook never interacted with you which helped you just get through the two hours of preparing meals for the rest of the Scouts, getting through the large stack of dishes by the sink and putting them away before returning to your room. Where you curled up under your blankets and eventually feel into a restless sleep.
Days slowly turned into weeks which turned into months and Levi questioned why you were suddenly gone. The papers that you tended to deliver was done at a time when he wasn't there, your voice was no longer calling out to him with another stupid question, you weren't sneaking snacks with Sasha during the evening. You were gone and everything around him was...lonely. He hates to admit it but he does miss you. Does he hate you? No, he hates the mushy lovey dovey feeling he feels whenever your around him. How could he become a mess just from hearing your giggle or seeing your smile. You make his heart flutter when you interrupt his train of thought by poking his cheek with the cap-covered pen. There's a strong stab of guilt as his mind replays what he was venting to Hanii about. Hanji understood what he was trying to say, only because they've known him for so long. But...you didn't, which probably explains your disappearance. Hanji was right, he never saw you as annoying but he hurt you before he was able to understand what they meant.
Your barracks was now his destination as he left the comforts of his office and went to see you. Having no plan whatsoever, he approached your hallway and paused seeing Sasha and Mikasa outside your door with a tray of food.
"You cant do this to yourself! Just let us help please!" Sasha begged, knocking on your door continuously. Nothing came in response and her shoulders shook as she started crying.
"Open the door please...you're hurting yourself" Mikasa's voice was equally broken as Sasha's emotional state.
"It shouldn't matter to you. If I don't want to eat, you can't make me. I said I want to be alone. So go" your voice snapped at them both and Mikasa sighed, placing the tray at your door.
"If and when you need us, you'll know where to find us" Sasha said, making sure you heard it before telling you goodnight and following Mikasa back to their barracks.
Once they had left Levi went to your door. There was a faint light that shone through the cracks and there was very little movement. He did hear the uneven breaths coming from your exhausted form. He tried knocking but got nothing in response.
"I know you're in there. It's pointless to hide there" he called out before knocking again. This time he got a humourless chuckle in response.
"Oh wow, you can to check on me. I'm so honoured" sarcasm laced your voice but it wasn't the same playful tone that you used to use with him.
"Of course I did. You're in my squad and you've been skipping out on training and assignments so I came to make sure you weren't getting in trouble " Idiot, he scolds himself. That came out wrong. He came to check because he was worried but stubbornness got in the way.
"You haven't cared before, why start now?" You hissed and it sent him aback. He could hear the hurt in your tone and could easily visualize the tears threatening to spill down your precious face.
"I didn't just start to care. How blind are you?" Again, too agressive and hardly comforting.
"You're wasting time. I'm not leaving here. Just leave" you snapped, just like you did to Sasha and Mikasa. He opened his mouth but thought better of it. He sighed and returned back to his office.
Work was hard to concentrate on because your hurt voice kept ringing in his head. He wanted to change it but he couldn't say the right thing and was only hurting you more. Hours passed and three chimes rang from his little clock on his bookshelf. Only getting through a third of his usual production, he heads to the messhall for a break, only to see that a small flickering candle set on the table that you used to join him at during this time. This is when you would poke his cheek, headbutt his arm, any of your silly overtired antics while you both waited for the tea to steep. But now, you sat alone covered by a blanket, starring at the old wood of the table. Your thinner body shook with each breath as you fought back sobs. He was able to see a sad smile on your face for a few moments before it fell and you covered your face with the blanket it and let out a strangled sob. Levi felt his heart shatter. He's seen multiple soldiers broke down but never you. Not your bubbly self. He clenched his jaw as he told your quiet scoldings, shamings directed at yourself for letting you get this way. Why were you beating yourself up over his own mistake? Because you didn't know it was your mistake. And he was going to find a way to fix this.
The next day, you woke up to the soothing scent of tea in your room. It was sitting on your bedside table and a little note with Levi's writing;
"You missed last night, so I brought you some for this morning" short and sweet but it almost drew a smile from you. Your body was cold from the loss of weight so you gladly accepted the warm liquid into your system. You didn't understand why he was doing this but, for now you would ignore it. The next morning, yet another tea cup was there waiting for you as was a note.
"Still didn't show...nearly fell asleep while waiting for the tea. Don't blame me if it's too bitter" the tea wasn't bitter, it was as delicious as always but the note troubled you. Why has he been waiting up for you? You slipped the note in the drawer with the one from yesterday and went to get ready for the day. Each morning, there was a new note and tea. But how he's been starting to add snacks too. You attempted to reject it but with you missing dinner, your body needed it if you weren't going to pass out every time you stood up. You were never sure when Levi came to drop off the treats since you didnt sleep very long anymore but he did it without fail each day. Your heart squeezed painfully with every note. Your feelings getting the better of you and a small spark of happiness started to build but the dark cloud quickly put it out. Autopilot took over and told you to stop accepting the treats, to only take what's necessary to survive each day.
The first day of seeing the tea untouched, made his body flood with fear. He thought you were slowly accepting him back but what did he do to stop that. By day three of rejected tea and treats, he decided to wait in your room until you woke up. He couldn't figure out a different way to get you to talk so he settled on this. He still brought you tea and snacks, before settling on your desk chair. He waited 20 minutes before you woke up.
Your eyes went to the tea before seeing his form seated by the window, looking out of it.
"Captain..." your voice crumbled upon seeing the concern flicker across his face and having him come towards you. You put your hands out in front of him and turned your face away from him.
"Don't! Don't c-come any c-closer please!" You yelped and he froze in his tracks. You looked like a frightened animal. A kitten to be specific. Doing as you asked, he stayed away, moving back to the chair and sitting down.
"Easy...I just..wanted to see you" he admits, watching you closely.
"Stop lying!" You begged and he shook his head.
"I'm not lying. It's been four months without you being with us at meals or training or having you with me in my office" he continues slowly and you shook your head this time.
"Please! Just stop this. I can't keep going through this!" Tears rolled down your face as you looked at him. His face feel seeing your thin face glisten with tears.
"I can't keep getting close to you only to have you shut me out and hate me. Either you care about me or you don't. Make up your mind!" You pleaded and his eyes widened a little. So you've been feeling like that. Great job Levi, great job.
"I do care about you. And I know it hasn't been made clear and I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what I said with Hanji before you came in. I'm sorry for being so unclear with you. I'm sorry for pushing you away" he said softly, tone quiet compared to your cries.
"But I promise I will do everything I can to help fix this, I just need to know how I can help you" his eyes showed that he was telling the truth, that this wasn't going to be another game but even you didn't know how to help yourself.
"I'm too broken" you murmur, looking down.
"I'm sad all the time for no reason, it's hard to stay happy when I'm alone. I've hurt my friends while they've tried to help....what's wrong with me?" You chuckle dryly and wipe your eyes furiously.
"Nothing is wrong with you. It's just what depression is...its common in this line of work but there is ways we can help you" Levi called your attention back to him.
"I have it, Hanji's had episodes, almost everyone in the Scouts have experienced it in some form or another" he assured and it helped to calm you a little.
"But I'm scared. I've tried to fight it but it doesn't go away" your eyes bore into his and he gives you a steady nod.
"So have I. But I can't fight it by myself either. That's why I talk to Hanji all the time or Erwin when he isn't busy. This isn't something you can fight on your own. I will listen to you and help if you want...if you don't want me to help then I'm sure Sasha or Mikasa will be willing to help. Or we'll find you someone else" he promised and you nodded slowly.
"This doesn't make me think any less of you. You're still this amazing woman who's works so hard for everyone in the Scouts and for me-" he knew this wouldn't be the time for a confession but yet again his mind said otherwise.
"You're still the woman who I keep falling in love with every day" your eyes widen at the statement. He's still looking at you, his pale cheeks now glazed with a blush.
For a moment, you feel the darkness disappear and you smile. Your real smile. Your bright happy smile.
"Thank you Captain" your voice doesn't waver while you speak and Levi relaxes a little. Even if this is just for a moment, it's good to see you back to your normal self.
"Levi, when it's just us" he corrects and you nod.
"Thank you Levi"
Starting from that point, he was by your side while he helped you get back onto a proper diet. His hand squeezed yours with each bite of food you ate and he rubbed your shoulder and soothed you when you couldn't eat as much or had an off day. There was a chair reserved for you in his office. Despite his displeasure, the chair had one of your teddies and colorful blanket draped on it. Sure it didn't match his office in the slightest and Hanji teased the hell out of him, but it also made him smile knowing that you had reached this level of comfort to where he's one of your 'safe' people.
The table once occupied by just you, had returned to both you and Levi having your late night tea and conversations. Sometimes about the way you felt over the week, other times about the weird new fact you learned with Hanji. Sometimes just sitting in silence until he questions why you're pawing at his arm or cheek like a kitten. Which is also why he now calls you 'Kitten'.
It took you another two months before you had gotten back to your usual self. Amends were made with Sasha and Mikasa and both girls were happy to see you back to the way you were. But the was still one more thing you wanted to do. Levi had proven that he wasn't going to suddenly break this off and leave you hurting so you finally gained the courage to do this. While he was working, you crawled over to his chair, resting your head on the armrest and pawing at his free arm.
"Are you actually acting like a cat now?" He realised an eyebrow and you mimicked a meow and he rolled his eyes before signing the paper and placing it aside to give you all his attention.
"What's wrong kitten" he patted your hair and you smiled.
"I love you Levi, thank you for fixing everything" you hugged his torso and he blinked before pulling you up to hug you properly. Not once did he think he would hear you say it back to him. Not that he cared whether or not he would hear you say it back but his heart fluttered upon hearing it.
"You did most of the work on your own, I was just here on the sidelines. You've made me so proud Kitten. I'll always be here to help you...I love you so much" he pressed a kiss to your forehead before tucking your head into the crook of his neck. You still had a ways to go but you've come so far. And like it or not Levi wasn't going to leave your side.
Hello, me again lol! I would like to request a Cold Captain Levi X cadet femreader fic for body ache and back pain comfort. You can decide on how it pans out. Fluff, angst and especially hurt/comfort would be much appreciated. Hope that's okay, thanks :)
Funny you brought this up...I was thinking of doing this after hurting myself earlier but you beat me to it. Here's another one!! Thanks for your request and I hope you enjoy!!
Levi Ackerman x Reader: Annoying Aches
Trigger Warning: Mentions of pain meds, body aches, there's an awkward moment between you and Levi as you point out where the pain is. Please keep this in mind while you read.
Muffled noises of outside the window fill your ears as the fog in your brain slowly leaves. You groan, not wanting to wake up yet and you shift a little, trying to get comfortable again. However, a weird sharp feeling settles in your chest. You ignore it and roll onto your back but it strikes again and you find it difficult to breathe. Your blood runs cold as you force yourself to sit up. The pain runs down your side, up to your should and ending where your shoulder meets your back. Sitting up makes it easier to breathe but it does nothing to ease the throbbing or the fear building inside you.
Your whimper goes unheard as your room is empty. Levi's spot on the bed is cold, it has been for the past two hours as he had to take over training for Miche who's out with a concussion. You can't make out what time the clock, on Levi's bedside table, reads because tears are blurring your vision.
Normally you can handle a bit of pain but you just woke up, your mind isn't up to speed yet and it hit so suddenly that everything is just overwhelming to you. Your mind is coming up with worse case scenarios like, "Did I break something?" "Am I having a heart attack?" "Was I attacked last night?". Every thought continues to spiral and feed the flame of your anxiety.
Using your good arm, your right one, you wipe your tears and try to calm your breathing. Using the sheet to wipe your eyes, you then look down at your body. There's no blood, so you weren't attacked. But the pain is only getting worse. So, you fix your sleepwear to the best of your abilities and leave you shoes loose, unable to tie them before heading to the infirmary. Might as well go now right? Before the pain becomes unbearable.
The medic greets you and gets you settled before asking you a few questions about your pain.
"When did it start?", "Have you had this before?", "Have you been injured in this area before?", "What have you've been doing up until this point?". Your voice is small when you answer. It's not helping that the medic is a larger, intimidating man who gives nothing more than a grunt in response to your questions. He scares you more than Levi when he's in a poor mood.
Without even touching you, the medic reaches a conclusion.
"Its just strain on your muscles. It'll go away in a few days. Just rest it and you'll be fine" his response is blunt and his tone was uninterested. He gave you nothing for the pain, simply dismissing you and going back to organizing shelves.
You walk stiffly back to your room, your back and chest beginning to ache more. You're blinking back tears yet again as you fumble with the door to get back into Levi's office. Once inside, you let your tears fall and your cries break past your lips. Each broken breath hurts your chest more but you can't help it. You feel so small, so vulnerable. The medic did nothing, then pain keeps growing and you just want to curl up in Levi's embrace. You want to hear his voice, want to let him help you solve this, make everything ok again.
You walk back towards the bedroom, not noticing the tea set on Levi's desk or the quiet rustling coming from the bed. You open the bedroom door more, gaining the attention of the raven head currently making the bed.
"Good, Y/n you're back. I know you like it when I make the bed but di-" His playful scolding about making the bed halts, as he sees your rosy cheeks wet with tears and hears your small cries.
"Hey, hey, hey. What happened?" He came over and you face planted into his chest, your arm on your left side unable to hug him with causing more pain so your right fists the back of his shirt. He isn't how to hold you, seeing your obvious discomfort so he pulled away a little and cups your cheek instead.
"Use your words, I can't help if I don't know what's going on" he says softly. Whenever you're in this kind of mood, he knows very well that he needs to baby you a little. Just until your breath calms and tears stop rolling down your face.
"I hurt...my back a-and my chest and-d my arm. But t-he medic didn't help a-and I'm s-scared a-n-" he cuts you off, understanding enough for the time being.
"Alright, here. Let's get you something to drink" he guides you back into his office, getting you to sit up on his desk chair and quickly going to the bathroom to fill an empty cup with water for you. He passes it to you and you take a few slow sips before putting down. Levi takes the cloth from his pocket and gently wipes away the tear stains on your face then kisses your cheek. He fold the cloth, placing it back in his pocket and leans against his desk.
"How are you feeling now, pain wise?" He asks. The water as well as the proper posture you have while in the chair, helped a little. Levi being here helped to calm you down as well.
"A little bit better...but my chest and back still hurt...its sharp, like I'm being bitten or scratched....but I can't really describe it and...it uh..hurts here mostly. Front and back" your cheeks flush a little as your good hand rests lightly over your breasts. Levi hums, not externally phased by the placement of the pain. Internally he's a little embarrassed at having to look at that area since it's part of the 'no looking zones' but you guys have done more intimate things so he knows you're comfortable with this, it's just awkward at the moment.
"The medic said that it's a muscle strain but...why does it hurt this bad?" You whimper a little.
"Your body can't tell that it's something minor. So instead it overreacts to prevent any further injuries" he explains and comes closer.
"You need to stretch it out. Will you let me help?" You nod and Levi guides your sore arm up above your head and starts to pull gently so it moves over your head and makes you lean. The stretch is strong and you yelp at him to stop. It feels like you've bent over a lot more than you actually have.
"You big baby, open your eyes" Levi sighs in slight disappointment. You've hardly leaned over that much and when you open your eyes, you can see that. You give him a nervous giggle and he rolls his eyes. He's teasing you. It works as a distraction and relaxes you a little more so you can stretch more. Once you're done with one side, he helps you do the other. By this point, you're able to move a bit easier now and the cold fear in your body, fades away.
"I'm going to go and get you some pain meds, you should go have a hot shower, relax your muscles more" he insists and you nod.
Stepping into the warm water feels nice. The water droplets were a little sharp against your tender spots but it eventually calmed down that area. By the time you got out of the shower, your body was less achy. Levi had already returned and was waiting for you on the bed. There was a glass of water and a pill. A big pill. Bigger than the ones you take for headaches and other aches. You scrunched your nose at it and pouted at Levi.
"Looking at me isn't going to make it smaller" he chuckled.
"But you could cut it in half maybe, you asked, giving him big eyes.
"I thought we moved on from that" he raised an eyebrow and you huffed.
"You're mean" you grumbled before swallowing the pill, grimacing at the way it slid down your throat.
"If I was mean, I wouldn't bring you medicine or be here to help you" He pointed out and you shook your head. You face planted in his chest again and he smiled a little.
"Did you want me to rub your back a little?" he offered and you nodded. He sat on the edge of the bed, you were seated between his legs. His fingers started near your neck and slowly worked down to your shoulder then down a little more before starting at the top and repeating the cycle. He was extremely gentle, skipping over any spots that had you squirming or yelping to stop. He hummed while he worked, filling the silence with an old melody he remembered.
"How's that?" Levi asked after a while. The meds would've taken effect by now and his soothing touches made the ache almost non-existent.
"Better" you leaned against him and his arms hugged your waist.
"Good. Let me know if things get worse. I'll take care of you" You nodded.
"I love you Levi" you sighed happily and Levi pressed a kiss on your neck.
Hi, how are you doing? I hope you are still taking up requests. I would like to ask a LEVI x READER with the scenario that they are married and Levi got wasted with the veterans. He was ranting about his wife for being strict with how they spend money (because he keeps on buying cleaning materials), how she cared about him seemingly being clingy especially when she bring him food when she actually just wanted him to not skipped meals and rant about how did he ever married her (well he was drunk)
*Happy noises!!!!* You are one of the big blogs that I really like, so that fact you asked something of me, makes me so happy!!! So sorry about the long wait but I hope this is to your liking. I did change it so that Levi wasn't drunk. Instead it would be a stress/exhibition mix because I think it was canon that he can't get drunk...but if you don't like it, no worries, I'll fix it!! Cried a little bit too while I made this, it's angsty and I apologize for that! But happy ending!!! So sorry about the wait. Thanks for your request and I hope you enjoy!!
Levi Ackerman x Reader: Lucky to Have You
Trigger Warning; Heavy Angst, mentions of ignoring, unappreciation, falling out/divorce, angry ranting. Please keep this in mind while you read.
It's rare to hear anyone complain about their partners during the veterans weekly late-night meetings.
Miche is normally pointing out how the fierce Nanaba is so soft and sweet with him.
Hange is always talking about Moblit's great work or how spice their nights can get before Levi covers their mouth to stop them from saying things that shouldn't be discussed with a younger audience.
Erwin recalls stories with the girl he liked a while ago, offering advice or simply just enjoying what his friends say.
Levi normally never brings you up into the conversation. He adored you with all that he is but doesn't want people to know that you're his weakness. It could put you in more danger than you already are and give his 'friends' something to tease him about. The few times he did bring you up was when people noticed the way you had fixed his jacket's shoulder emblem which was coming off. Or it was about the way his posture was better since you helped get rid of the pain in his back from the strain of his ODM gear. You were a goddess in his eyes and he tried his best to make sure that you knew he appreciated your efforts.
But this last month was hard. With the discovery of the Female Titan and the death of his squad, the stress and exhaustion started clouding his clear mind and it tangled up with you, though you did nothing wrong. It mixed together and came out during one of the night meetings. Levi didn't really process the words he said and everyone else in the room really was tipsy from the drinks to point it out.
"Some days I can't stand her anymore. She's always so clingy, using the excuse to bring food to my office just to be with me for a few minutes. I never see her with food yet you don't hear me barking at her to eat something and stop doing the task in front of her" Levi grumbled starting off expressing his frustrations.
"Then it's always being cautious with money. Yes I know we don't have a lot because the Scouts only have so much of their own but I don't need you to remind me every time I plan on going to get something. The cadets are so clumsy so when they break something, the mop last week, I have to go and get new ones because no one else does" Everyoen just let him rant. They've never seen him so worked up over anything before and it was more so for the humor. Heck, none of them, except Levi, would remember this later.
"I'm a grown man, not some child that she needs to take care of. I need some space. How blind does she need to be, can't she tell?" He played with the ring on the necklace after he finished.
"Weird, normally Y/n's so good at noticing things" Hange sighed, looking down.
"Its normal, you'll get used to it" Miche hummed. Levi rolled his eyes but didn't add anything else.
"Talking works but I'm assuming that's already off the table?" Erwin adds and gets a grunt in response. The conversation quickly changes, thanks to Hange, and it's also quickly forgotten.
By them at least. Instead, it plants itself inside your head and leaves a tight feeling in your chest. Is that really how he view the things you did for him? But you two swore no more secrets the day you both got married. So many questions swarmed your mind and prevented you from opening the door and taking your husband back to your shared room. The entire conversation could be heard through the door from where you stood. No mistakes could be made as it came out perfectly clear. You walked back, alone as you decided to give him what he claimed he wanted.
You made a brief stop at his room, not your shared one anymore, to remove the traces of you from it. You didn't want him to put up with you anymore than necessary any longer. Then you made your way back to your room that was hardly used.
The bed was cold, the room was a little dusty but you cleaned it up quickly. And then the small container than sat in your top bedside table drawer made its appearance for the first time in two years. Your small pouch was taken out of the basket you used to love all your stuff and its contents was dumped inside. Just under twenty dollars left of the last three months salary. Everything else was used to help Levi with his cleaning habits for his own comfort. Your money could now be put towards the new set you wanted to help with your hobby. Something that's been on hold since the cadets have been so irresponsible with Levi's stuff.
Now that you're room was back in order, you settled into bed and tried to sleep alone. Something that you've gotten used to since Levi rarely listened and hardly came to bed with you. But at least his scent was on the blankets and you could hear him in his attached office. Now, there was nothing. Not to mention that you're office was on the opposite ends of the hallways since you were a Squad leader and had Levi's squad and another under your supervision. So there would be no contact with him whatsoever.
It was for the best but it didn't help the crappy feeling eating away at you. You thought things were going ok and that you and Levi had reached an understanding that if anything was wrong, you could come and talk to each other about it. You were strong, of course you were, but no one is able to go through a heartbreak without shedding a tear. Which is why there was little guilt about crying yourself to sleep that night.
A week passed and now that the stress has finally calmed within the regiment, Levi had started to notice things were off. First of all, nothing covered him during the nights he fell asleep at his desk. Your side of the bed was cold every morning and the wrinkles in the sheets where you normally sleep were gone. Meals were no longer brought to him, nor was his tea and he had to stop and grab something because concentrating just didn't happen when meals were missed. But most importantly, why the hell were you gone? Why didn't you pop into his office during the day with something corny to say or to mess his hair up so that he would sit up properly and not hurt his back? He missed you.
But its not like he could pull you over and ask what's going on because you were nonexistent when he went to look for you. He would try to talk after meetings but you would literally disappear into thin air. There was a meeting taking place in the capital next week and you both were assigned to go on it. So he was hoping to talk to you before that, which is why he's checking your office, a place he's rarely been to since being married.
He didn't bother knocking since there was no voices or noise coming from the inside. So when he pushed open the door, he had to bite hit tongue to stay queit.
You had fallen asleep on the floor of your office, surrounded by papers and folders. On your desk was lunch but it was only half eaten. His eyebrows furrowed because this was so out of your character. Even before he became friends with you, you worked smart not hard. This mess if work was hard work not smart work and he could tell by the small amount of finished work there was.
Next to the dishes, was a thinner folder labeled "private" and there were wet drop stains scattered around the label. He immediately assumed they were tear stains and he opened the folder. In red ink was the word 'Divorce' and at the bottom of the page, there was two sections. Once was filled in with all of your information and the otherwise was blank. The only thing that gave away what it was for, was the title "partner two". He ran a hand through his hair and swore under his breath.
The noise of the folder moving, woke you up and you watched his expression fall into one of despair. There was a painful flicker of hope that Levi did still love you but it was extinguished by the glare returning.
"You can take that, sign it then I'll mail it away and you won't be trapped with me anymore" you speak up, your voice was still rough from sleep. Levi turned around quickly and his silver eyes connected to your tired, dull ones.
"What?" He asked you to clarify though he heard you just fine the first time.
"We rarely see each other anymore, I'm not happy with this and neither are you. So why are you continuing to trap yourself with me?" You mumble, cleaning up your stuff and packing away the papers. He doesn't respond, just watches you. Since when did he say that you were trapping him or preventing him from being happy? You do the exact opposite to him...but you looked so...broken. So maybe he would just suck it up and do it for your sake. He hates seeing you this way but he didn't know what would've caused this.
"Ok" was all he said before taking the folder and going to his own office.
The next week was so hard to do anything. Levi couldn't do anything without having your broken expression or the last conversation going through his mind. He wanted to have a proper talk with you about this and he finally got the chance when you had to share a room with him.
You had sat down on the couch and Levi dropped the folder onto to the table in front of you. Your heart fell at the sight of it and you took the folder after looking at it for a few moments.
"You signed it?" You confirmed, not opening it yet.
"No I didn't. You never gave me a proper explanation as to why you're doing this. You can't just dump this on my Y/n" he sat on the bed facing you.
"Your explanation was your vent two weeks ago" you glared weakly at him and a cold sweat it Levi hard. He had forgotten about the things he said and they all came back in a rush, giving him a headache.
"You heard that? Y/n please, all of that came out wrong-" the steady, calm monotone voice he usually had, broke as he panicked.
"You don't have to keep lying Levi. I just want to know where I went wrong...I just wanted to take care of you since you do that to everyone but yourself. I thought it helped when I brought you food so that you didn't waste time, grabbing meals. I didn't mean to be clingy when I come and get you from your night meetings with your friends or when I sit and talk with you for a little bit after bring you food...I'm sorry I became a problem...I'm sorry this wasn't something you could come and talk about to me about. I'm sorry I let you down..." you started off strong but you eventually started crying again as you reached the end. The strong front Levi had, was gone and replaced with horror as he saw you break down like this. He wanted to hold you, soothe you, wipe away your tears and make things better again. But he couldn't because he was the problem. So instead he got up and took the folder, that was now next to you as you hid your face in your hands, and threw it in the fire. After hearing the new bring noise, you looked up to see him staring onto the fire with his eyes glossy.
You opened your mouth to speak but the clanking of the fire stick hitting the stand as he put it away, made you stop. Levi returned to the bed and sat so that he faced you.
"If you still want a divorce by the end of these three day, I'll go and get you another form. But can we please talk this out properly before jumping to conclusions like this?" He asked quietly, looking down at the floor. You stay silent and let him continue.
"I don't want you thinking I hate you, that I feel trapped with you, that I made a mistake marrying you or that I regret it. Because I don't...and I know you probably don't believe me. Those things I said...I was confused, tired and hurt but it doesn't matter because i never should've said that. I didn't remember I said those until you brought it up. Sorry isn't going to make up for this and it never will but I'm going to start by saying it because it's a sign of recognition of my mistakes and its better than saying nothing at all. Y/n, I'm so sorry for the crap I said about you. You are such a wonder that I've found and I'm sorry that I hurt you" as he spoke, his eyes were locked on you the entire time. You could tell that it was a struggle to stay composed as he stopped frequently and hid Adam's Apple bobbed nervously. When he finished speaking, he dropped his gaze again and shut his eyes slightly to stop the stinging from the tears that tried to build up and escape.
Your tears continued to fall because you didn't think you would ever hear Levi apologize the way he did. It helped to soothe the burning pain in your chest that you've had for almost a month now. But part of you was still scared that this was a cover up.
"We have three more days until we go home. If you'll allow me, I want to try and show you how sorry I am and try to make amends with you" he spoke again after a little bit, looking at you which mirrored the same pained expression you had.
You were hesitant but your gut was urging you to give it a chance, to give him a chance again.
"Alright..." you agreed slowly and Levi perked up a little more.
"Thank you. For starters, here" he passed you a small envelope. It seemed light until you grabbed it and it turned out being much heavier than expected. You opened it to inspect it and gasped at the contents. Money, it was a decent amount too and you shot Levi a look for clarification.
"I'm not trying to bribe you into staying with me...I found your money book in my office and found the amount of money that you took from your salary and added to my funds for the new cleaning supplies that the brats keep breaking. Most of it's my money but the kids found out and added some of their own too. There should be enough in there for the new kit you've been wanting for your spare time hobby. As well as some left over that will give you a boost for your savings" Levi explains and it fills your chest with a sense of calm and warmth. He noticed. Not only that but he paid you back even though he didn't have to. You were left speechless and it scared him a little bit. He was panicking internally that this was too much.
"You also don't need to acc-" he started but you cut him off.
"No...this is amazing...thank you Levi" your voice broke off near the end as happy tears replaced the sad tears. He relaxed and dug out a clean cloth from his pocket, moving towards you and kneeling in front of you to wipe your tears before stopping to correct himself. He couldn't do this yet, not after being such a jerk.
You placed your hands on his to stop his internal debate and gave him a look which told him he was ok to continue. He was very gentle when wiping your tears. He treated your face like glass but also welcomed your touch when you leaned into his hand more.
"Thanks Levi" you whispered and he nodded in response.
"Of course my love...I mean Y/n" he stuttered and you smiled a little.
Over the course of the next few days, Levi did everything to counter what he said about you. When meal time came, he made sure you both ate and stopped whatever he was doing and gave you his full attention. If you were working on something, he brought you food and sat giving you space to work but also staying near you in case you needed anything.
He slowly worked his way into sleeping with you again. Starting off in the bed while you took the couch, because he gave up fighting with your stubbornness, for the first night. Then it was a pillow barricade the second night which ended up with you cuddling Levi against your chest while he clung to your torso and lower body. And finally the last night...
"We go back tomorrow...If you made up decision, I'll grab the forms on the way back" Levi said nervously.
"Stop nervous fiddling and come lie on the bed" you instruct. You've started acting more like yourself over that last two days which was a big relief to him. He does what you ask and you surprise his when you curl up against his chest, just like before.
"You made the right decision burning the file" you claim, looking at him.
"Really?" His eyes lit up now, something that has been gone since he first found out about your plan.
"Yes. I'm mean it when I say it Levi I forgive you.-" he cuts you off before you can add anything else.
"If you're thinking of apologizing again, don't. You're not even the one who should've apologized. I am. This was my fault and you were only acting according to what you thought was best. This had nothing to do with you. We've just learned now to talk instead of assuming and venting." He scolds lightly and you hum in agreement.
"Don't try to apologize for apologizing earlier either." He adds quickly as you open your mouth. Though now, the words turn into laughter. Infectious laughter as Levi chuckles a bit too.
"I love you Y/n. So so much. Thank you for trying again with me" he kisses your lips once you both settle down.
"I love you too Levi...thank you for making things ok again" you smiled and cupped his cheek.
It was a dangerous way to learn a lesson about having a relationship but it worked out in the end at least. Levi made sure to be more cautious of his actions going forward and you did too. This hiccup in the road only made you two grow stronger as years passed. And looking back, you both were grateful to have learned the lesson of communication early on in your marriage. So that you didn't end up as the other couple down the the street that bickers constantly! You're both as happy as can be.
Hey can do levi x reader singing headcanons please
Yes absolutely! I'm glad you found your way back to my blog again! So sorry this took so long. Thanks for your request and I hope you enjoy!!
Levi with his Singer S/O Headcanons
Your voice is one of the best things he has in his life. You're still number 1, as always.
Its something at first he's not sure if you wanted him to notice it or not. He's caught you once or twice alone singing but never out with anyone. Were you shy? Rehearsing for something? Just didn't want anyone to know? Regardless, he would try to avoid listening in...the best he could because he has a tenancy to always find you when you're singing.
If you wanted him to notice without you telling him and he hasn't mentioned it, he'll notice when you stop singing cause he'll stop finding you. At that point, he will attempt to causally approach the topic but end up revealing rather quickly that he would listen in on you singing.
Levi will pause when he realizes that it slipped out and face palm before trying to justify his actions. *flustered Levi noises*
From now on, he'll want to hear you sing around him as much as possible. It'll take time before he's comfortable asking you to sing, since its just a Levi thing, and if you go for awhile without singing he'll pout about it.
Its calming to him. Especially when it's one of those days were all of the silent burdens on his shoulders gets too heavy. Levi craves it. Humming, low tone or just your normal singing he just wants you and your voice.
It'll be rare but if there's enough pleading, cleaning, cheek kisses, he might end up stressing to sing something with you. ONLY if you two are alone and it is never mentioned around anyone. He wouldn't be apposed to it, especially if it means he gets to see you happy.
Levi loves your voice and you providing such a talent in his life only made him appreciate and love you so much more. You truly are such a gift in his life!
Lots of people write Levi as calling his SO “brat” but honestly I see him giving them a special nickname unique to them the way he called Hange “shitty-glasses”/“four eyes” and Erwin “eyebrows”
I mean he’d definitely have to be friends with his so before they got together, and we all know he bullies his friends as a sign of affection right 😆
Absolutely. Levi really does need to know people before he just starts calling them something that's a little insulting. This is such a cool idea too! Sorry for the wait! Thanks for your request and I hope you enjoy!!
Levi's "Insulting" Nicknames for his S/O Headcannons:
Trigger Warning: Name calling, nothing major but it's the nature of the request so please just keep that in mind.
Levi loves his nicknames for people...why else would he constantly be using them? But they can't be any name. They need to be specific for the person. Like Erwin and his big eyebrows, hence the name 'Eyebrows'.
First of all, he needs to make sure that it's something that would occasionally annoy you but would be more playful than anything. It would take some time for him to figure it out. It needs to be specific for you and something that wouldn't change easily.
Depending on your ticks, quirks or figure, the name would vary. Since he's already used glasses and eyebrows for two other friends, he would try and stay clear of those. Things he would pick would probably be; height, freckles, hair colour, finger tapping, leg bouncing...and other things that are similar.
Here's a list of a few things he would use for nicknames:
Taller than him - Tree Freak
Smaller than him - Squirt
Quiet and very sneaky - Mouse
Clingy - Leech
If anything were to happen to you, that would change the thing that he chose to pick on for your nickname, he would stop using it unless you told him otherwise. Levi's done this with one of his friends in the show too. I won't say it here for spoilers though. Season 3, is all that I will say.
To be clear, this is your nickname that HE gave you. Which mean that only HE gets to use it. Otherwise, it seems like an insult if not used by him. And anyone insulting you will not fly with him.
You have some say when it comes to the nickname. If it's starting to irritate you more than anything, he'll stop using it. He doesn't want to pick on you, its suppose to be a way he shows his affection. But if its causing more harm than good, then it's gone.
This doesn't mean that you get to come up with a corny nickname for him. He won't stand for it. At least not all the time. Sometimes...sometimes it'll earn you a chuckle from him. This is something just shared between the two of you. Which makes it even more special. Even if it seems very odd or corny to others.
